Jim said 2 in for the Falkirk game potentially but we’ve actually brought nobody in and are close to selling 2 in Kai & Jort.

Mon united it’s august ffs & we have European money. Let’s get the business done.

The player himself aside, I find that comment a bit strange from Burns regarding wages. Either our budget is extremely low despite so many outgoings and European football which would be really disappointing or just exactly how much are Hearts overpaying him??

I'm not sure it is, would take our signings up to 16.

Remember we signed 13 last Summer and it's been widely acknowledged we had the smallest squad (and have just let go of 20 if we are including VDS).

That including big earners like Middleton, Watt, Gallagher, Moult, Docherty etc.

I'd say 5 more is minimum we need for a strong squad that can actaully do well in all comps.

Thank fuck, he’s no a terrible footballer, but we can’t waste a squad space on a striker that doesn’t score goals. Emil Lyng’s the worst footballer I’ve ever seen play for United and even he’s scored a goal for us.

I never understood this Jort Nation shite, he was utter pish.

3 or 4 players still required. At least another striker, winger and a midfield playmaker required.

Perhaps if 2 more move on, it'll allow more in - so 5 might not be too far off.

Odada is an interesting one - Goodwin said he was part of the squad but isn't getting a sniff of action - so perhaps a game to make sure we dont need to give him a big payout to leave

Has to be up there with some of our worst signings given we paid a fee to get him and probably very decent wages.

This is most likely, we'll have a wage structure, Heats can and will pay way more.

The fact Hearts, Aberdeen and HIbs all like to flex their muscles is probably why decent-ish players from their teams never really move within the same league.

i saw the hearts first team photo today, 31 players in it (plus another 2 today?) & Dhanda didn’t look happy

If Ronan Hale hasn't got a decently modest release clause then either....

a. He doesn't believe in his ability to attract a bigger club
b. His agent didn't have the foresight to put one in
c. He doesn't have an agent

Nobody is paying anywhere near that for a 12 league goals striker from Ross County

Strain out for 10 weeks too,so that'll no doubt be January. It's fucking ridiculous how many hamstring injuries we are continually picking up. Wtf is going on in training? 2 more faces before the window closes is nowhere near enough unless we plan to be playing in the fundesliga next season.
