Pre season friendlies

Any word on pre season friendlies?  Be good to get a trip to north of England or something and a decent team at home before our conference league qualifiers.

Re: Pre season friendlies

Goodwin likes closed door friendlies as your allowed unlimited subs so guess we’ll have a few at St Andrews. I’m sure we’ll have one or two lined up where fans can go to before the European games start though

Re: Pre season friendlies

We need at least two proper friendlies before the Conference 1st Leg.

Re: Pre season friendlies

Not really interested in playing some average English team at home that will sell 4000 tickets. Get an English day out for fans like Carlisle and Fleetwood previously. Would love a day trip to somewhere like Preston, Bolton or Hartlepool.

Fans would travel as well, we took quite a big support as far south as Plymouth (legendary friendly) and a big turnout at Coventry and more recently at Wigan although I seem to recall there was nothing interesting that happened on the pitch there.

Cracking game, easy to get to and very decent opposition. I think we'll take a big support through to Perth.

Re: Pre season friendlies

PEC Zwolle away on the 11th of July and Oldham at Home on the 9th.

First time we’ll see Mickey Mellon in the dugout at Tannadice in the flesh.

Doubt he'll spend too much time in the dugout, and should still be able to hear him over the crowd 🤣

It's on the 19th BTW,I'm sure that's what you meant though.

There's gonna be plenty of room in the showers unless they hurry up and get some bodies in

Make what you will of that 🤔🤣
