Tony watt  - surplus to requirements, out on loan from the beginning of the season

Billy King - told by Hearts he wasn't needed we pounced.

Willo Flood - told the same by Middlesbrough, came back to us.

I'm pretty sure OD is already contracted for 25/6. If offers have been made to the other two it will be difficult for them to find another club, in Scotland, who will be prepared to pay the compensation to get them if they don't decide/want to stay.

Anyway I saw Adams was on holiday on his Insta yesterday.

Half the 1st team squad has been rinsed,if not more. Id have expected new faces through the door already, that's a bare fucking minimum tbh.

 
In fairness up to the Scottish Cup final result we had no realistic idea as to what we could afford and on what wages.

From reading various things over the years, and listening to the odd podcast etc. my understanding of transfer targets is essentially clubs at our level who are organised will have 2 or 3 lists of targets depending on where league position and Europe dictates.  Chances are we had a Europa list, and Conference and one for finishing 6th as that would effect what we could offer. Also, players contracts usually expire across Europe June 1st.

On top of this you've got agents who, like them or loathe them, are out to get the best deal for theit clients.

3 days for a couple faces in isn't a bad effort.

Yeah, I'm starting to want to see signings but not getting my blood pressure that they aren't here yet. An spfl player has been on holiday for 2 weeks... the chances that they will have received a firm offer and decided within 2 weeks is pretty slim.
