There's a lad back right who appears to throw something towards the dons supporters. If he did (I can't see for sure) he should be dealt with by the club - nobody should be throwing anything at anybody.
Super self defeating. Scottish football has been seeing increased crowds across the board and we've just finished a season where theres been numerous exciting battles - we should be in a position to be getting better tv deals, better players and a better product.... but theres no chance this is going to make tv companies, sponsors etc to plough money into us or scottish football

Part of any pitch invasion, has always almost involved goading of away fans.
You're celebrating, and often at their expense.
Nothing any United fan did today warranted a seat being vandalised and thrown towards them from the away end, luckily it massively backfired on them.
Really hope the Bbc or whatever highlight the two big patches of empty seats in the away end and why.
Their fans have been fucking arseholes for years, looking for trouble, wrecking pubs, throwing shite on the pitch.
Weird speaking, entitled, wankfucks.

Absolutely magnificent, Jim Goodwin has done a magnificent job- not always pretty but fuck me 2 years ago relegated, last season beefing with raith rovers now in Europe, phenomenal
First half was terrible, was like Aberdeen had an extra man on the pitch.
Second half were absolutely class, whole team was brilliant in second half, both lads in middle of park were immense, Gallagher to get his first goal on his last game? Superb, Hardings best game. I thought strain was superb second half.
Fucking come on

Also thought Paton was good when he came on

Well that was a brah day was it no.
TBH, didna think things would work oot the day. Up until 63 mins, we were sitting in 6th efter the Midden scored. Was beginning to think it was looking
like a stitch-up fae ah they West Coast chunts.
Looked like to me that things started to go oor weh efter the sheepsh@ggers scored.
Things improved even mair efter the cheenges were made. Great when Gallacher haeded in fir the equaliser.
Saw Strain getting knocked doon. Couldna believe Brother Beaton blahin so quick. What scenes when big Sam put it in the back. The SSBs looked even poorer efter we went ahaed.
But that 7 mins oe stress at the end. When we heard that the green brigade had equalised, there were hert rates a-bumpin. Boy next to me was practicing voodoo on Beaton to blah.
MOTM fir me Middleton. Cleal-Harding has a talent and hes got huge potential.
Hoped Jim and the players mighta came back oot, but the cerry-on efter the whistle. Fowk are excited, but it indirectly leads to some daft Aiberdeen chunt lobbin a chair onta the pitch. Didna realise wha it hit until the Ambulance boys appeared we the stretcher and saw the Aiberdeen player on the deck.

Well done Jim and the boys.

From league winners in September to 5th in May.
Ah well 😀 that's football.
Bet Jim's wine tastes extra good tonight 🍷

I feared the worst when St Mirren scored. Fair play to Jim and the team. To come out in that heat in the 2nd half play like that was unreal. Best we’ve played all split. You seen the quality Glenn Middleton has, Louis Moult was excellent off the bench and Dave Richards had a couple of excellent saves. From 6th place during the game to 4th will earned us 1 million quid extra. It also gives us fans 2 European ties at least which we deserve. Regarding the scenes at the end, ban those bastards from Tannadice.

At least all the nonsense about the players chucking it , already on holiday ect was put to bed yesterday.
Aberdeen were the poorest team we've played in the top six that's how we won yesterday. The previous 4 games we we beaten by teams who were better than us.
Maybe lacking in quality in certain areas of the team , not the time to highlight certain individuals again but no lack of effort from the players yesterday.
Good performances from Gallagher, SCH & second half Docherty & Middleton
As soon as the fans came on the pitch I knew that the departing players wouldn't get the opportunity to say their goodbyes and get a show of appreciation from the fans, who I thought were excellent yesterday and definitely helped the team get over the line.
We as fans can now sit back and look forward to the next episode in the story of the Tannadice Terrors.
I've just been informed that finishing as high as 4th is something our neighbours
have not achieved for 63 years.

63 fucking years, wow!
Amazing that the last decade has been seen, quite rightly btw, as quite a fallow period for the club, yet we’ve still managed to finish 4th twice in the last 3 years.

What a rollercoaster not only yesterday was but the whole season. Wouldn’t be United if it wasn’t though eh?
Though SCH was immense, so was his partner Gallagher - both of them headers every ball that came their way.
Let’s hope we can build on this, unlike the last time we qualified for Europe.
Will be an interesting summer, lots of comings and going’s. And hey, no League Cup group stage games folks!

Aberdeen is my favourite fixture. Atmosphere is brilliant. In the shed yesterday again and it makes so much difference to the team I think.
Thought we were poor most of the match. Especially first 35 mins.
Watched Babunski close first half when he was right in front of me. He took up so many good positions outside the box to link the play and could see who frustrated he was at the constant punts and pointless cross field diagonals to the opposite wing. No point playing him at all if that is how Jim wants us to play.
Wing backs - the contrast was worrying. Most of the threat aberdeen had all day came down Strain’s side. They got almost nothing down our left. It looked like a noticeable tactic that Strain was tucking in next the centre backs and often leaving Trap 2 on 1. Can’t understand the logic if that was tactical.
Based on end of season I think we offer Doc an extension. He leads and organises the team. Links the play. Is good ant breaking up opposition attacks And is experienced. We are losing a lot of experience.
Why can neither of our keepers kick the ball? Few really good saves yesterday. Especially the point blank header at 2-1.
Delighted with the season overall. Can’t wait for Europe and would be amazing to win a tie.

United fans have to take some of the blame here. Why run up to the away fans and goad them. How about just enjoying what United have achieved.
Totally agree. Didn’t some of our fans do something similar last season? Was it at Airdrie? Ultimately Aberdeen fan shouldn’t be throwing anything onto the pitch but we did similar in our last home game against Dundee when objects were thrown at Simon Murray.

I forgot about Dave's point blank save towards the end, I was too busy sh!tting myself.
And his flying save a bit earlier.
Both saves resulted in us finishing fourth so well done Dave, No 1 jersey for him next season?
Actually both might be in the brilliant save category.

Forgot. The bit of skill from Middleton where he skinned 3 of them looked GMSesque. Opposite end of pitch from me - was it as good as I thought?

Totally disagree myself, not that I'm advocating pitch invasions or anything but fans spend the whole game goading opposition fans and always have done. It's part of football, if some brainless cunt of a grown arse adult then rips up a seat and throws it onto the pitch which was full of kids then thats totally on him and no one else.

Saturday was the season in microcosm. We really weren't very good through large chunks of the game, but somehow figured out a way to get on top and grind out a result. The players dug deep to make sure that they got out of the season what they had put into it. There is a real team spirit and, ignoring money for a minute, that properly encourages folk to stick around.
We have such a small squad compared to others. We had 3 less subbies than Aberdeen . We were down to the bare bones of a squad. On paper, looking at the Aberdeen subbies, most of them would be in our starting XI.
Pleased for Jim that we got that post split win. We were blown away by Celtic and the heads did go down a little. We shot ourselves in the foot at Easter Road, but even though we were held together by sticky tape, we actually pushed them and it could have ended differently. We looked dead on our feet v St Mirren. Fans also flat. Beaten by the (impressive) better team. Wasn't at Ibrox, but seems we gave a decent account of ourselves. I really thought Saturday would be another game too far, but the resolve to get something from the game (including from the stands) was something else and the celebrations evidenced the team spirit. Delighted to see Walton race on to congratulate Richards for example. Hope Kevin Holt was looking in and seeing what he missed.
Another patch up job over the summer I guess and we'll see whether Jim is the real deal or not. If it is about nurturing team spirit however...
