I'd like to see Babunski get a game tomorrow.

That heavy pitch won't suit him the best but he's a much better option than Campbell who just seems to run around and bump into people. Best position would be top of a diamond 3 of Doc Sibbald and him. But the chances of seeing it under Goodwin appear to be zero.

I've been getting more and more negative recently about the quality of our football. When you post that negativity at times we're getting results folk say aye but the quality isn't important, look at the results. Well I'm still posting it and now I'm saying "look at the results".

It's a very important 90 minutes coming up. A draw isn't much good really. It needs to be all 3 points.

Me too, we have very little leaders left to select from and with him already worn the armband I would also be trying yo get him on the pitch.

Re: Ross County vs Dundee United - Sunday 30th March (2.30PM)

A brilliant win, pretty much secures top 6, the fight for 3rd is on.

Sevelj and docherty were brilliant, think you’ve got to give docherty a new deal, rather have him for 20/25 games than a dud, the difference he makes to the whole team is unbelievable.

Re: Ross County vs Dundee United - Sunday 30th March (2.30PM)

It was a pretty horrible watch, but we fought well and showed the requisite desire that deserved the win.

Thought Ross Docherty was fantastic. We are a far better team when he plays, the whole balance of the team looked better, and i like his leadership qualities, could see him constantly talking Sibbald and Stephenson through the game. It's a minor tragedy for him and us that he just can't ever stay fit. I hope he gets a break for a while and can put a run of games together.

A wee word too for Vicko Sevelj and Ross Graham who were very solid at the back. We nullified County very well today.

That should be Top 6 in the bag. Hopefully we can turn in some better performances going forward.

I agree with almost everything you say and agree above with Super Mario's comments on Docherty, night and day when that lad plays.

Sevelj again done a shift in another position,  my POTY.

Only small thing I am not to hung up on is a performance,  I don't really care how we get the points, it's all about results, look across the  and they would bite their hands off for our points total.

Pressure, now for me is off, top 6 all but a certainty and with the money Hibs and Aberdeen have splashed out is on on them.

I agree about a new deal but Goodwin was ruthless last year and can see more of the same again this time round.

Re: Ross County vs Dundee United - Sunday 30th March (2.30PM)

Agree with everything above.
One of the worst games of football I've seen in a long long time but our desire, application and wee bit extra quality got us over the line. I'm hearing the ball has been detained in hospital for observation overnight.
Svelj and Graham outstanding today.

So am I right in saying we should defo get Tap 6 unless the Midden win the next 2 matches by a clear 7 goals.

not quite, we wold have to lose twice which is at least 2 off the goal difference, so they would only need to score 5 over their 2 games

Docherty’s our best player when he plays. It’s a real shame for the guy that he can’t catch a break like you say. I’d still be tempted to give him a new deal cause I think he’s that good and I’d hate to see him get fit and someone else reap the rewards. For me it’s a gamble worth taking even for a another year, cause midfielders that can control a game the way he does are hard to find at our level.

Was saying the same on the bus home yesterday, if you can get him fit for 25/38 league games he’s like 2 players.

Re: Ross County vs Dundee United - Sunday 30th March (2.30PM)

Wasn’t there. Watched highlights.  Looks like we dominated at a difficult venue. Sure bbc said we had 20 shots to their 5, so deserved win even if game was poor.

Docherty is our captain for a reason. Ever since he joined the stats with him in the team and out have been clear. I really like him as a player and a leader. After 2 full seasons of playing a few games and then being out for a month I think it is time to move on. Maybe a pay as you play deal if he can stay fit until end of the season? Anyway, that type of player I think is one Scotland are actually quite good at producing and I would hope we could find a younger, fitter version of him in the lower leagues. Won’t be easy.

Almost confirmed as top 6. In first season up that is good. Get the criticisms about style, but don’t really understand what anyone would realistically expect from Goodwin more than comfortable promotion in first season and top 6 in first season back in top league. For me doing fine.

County were very poor yesterday. Surprised Hale and White can’t get a game for them.

Ooooorrrr did we do our homework and put in place a plan to limit them to just 5 chances?

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

United’s Premiership win percentage with Docherty is 60% (nine from 15), while their win percentage without him is 18.75% (three from 16).

Quite the difference

Thought they played into our hands not playing Jordan White in particular.

His height could have troubled us.

Docherty’s continued injuries frustrate me and I’ve said get rid but I’m wrong. Need to keep and see if we can get similar as backup.

On the flip side, if St Mirren don't win on Saturday then our top six place will be confirmed before we kick another ball.

Indeed. A St Mirren win and a United win is what we should be wanting. I'd be happy as fk to see them down again.
