The league 1 three, I’ve high hopes for. I don’t think Newman, sadly, has a future with us. But of the 3 that played yesterday I’ve the highest of hopes for Adams. Would love an academy keeper to cement a first team place cause he’s good. Be the first since Gallacher.

I saw that, the giving the ball away if not the bollicking.
Poor Owen must have felt dreadful.
He'd better score some goals if he's to get back in favour.
But putting them out of the Cup, at Hampden, oh no!

That's a shame for young Newman.
Both his last two loan moves have been wrecked by injury.

Jeanfield Swifts didn't put up their team lines in their East of Scotland Premier League match vs Sauchie Juniors, so unfortunately no info on how young Ollie Simpson did, or if, indeed, he even made his debut.
Looks like they don't post their team line-up's on their social media accounts or even on their official website, so info on young Ollie's progress will be hard to come by, sadly.

I'm seeing from the BBC Scottish Sport website that we've put no fewer than 9 out on loan in the winter window, most of them minor, bigger ones being Miller Thomson to Falkirk & earlier Meshack to Livi.
One out permanent, Domeracki to Norwich, good luck with that one, I haven't an earthly about it, such is the state of non-reserve football now. I never got to see him.
A game every 6 weeks at some training ground is about the height of young players' ambitions now.
