In the Scottish Premiership -

On Friday (20/12) -

Tony Watt played the first 84 minutes for Motherwell who drew 1-1 at home to Kilmarnock in a controversial match blighted by VAR and poor officiating. The Steelmen remain 4th in the table.

In Scottish League One -

Ruairidh Adams and Sam Harding played the full 90 for Kelty Hearts who won 2-0 at home to Qots. The Fifers move up to 2nd in the table. Lewis O'Donnel played the first 71 minutes for Queen's who are 7th in the division.

In the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup -

Bryan Mwangi started for Broxburn Athletic and scored their only goal in a 1-0 win away to Whitburn Juniors.

In the Scottish Lowland League -

Both Sean Borland and Adam Carnwath started for Cumbernauld Colts in their 3-1 defeat away to Linlithgow Rose. The men from North Lanarkshire remain bottom of the table.

In the Scottish Premiership on Thursday (26/12) -

Tony Watt started for Motherwell at Celtic Park but was subbed off after an hour as his side got thumped 4-0. A result which takes them down to 5th in the table.

In the Scottish Premiership on (29/12) -

Tony Watt was a 2nd half substitute for Motherwell in their highly controversial 2-2 draw at home to Rangers. Watt himself having a goal chopped off after consultation with VAR. The Steelmen threw away a 2 goal lead after half an hour but remain in 6th.

In Scottish League One on the (28/12) -

Ruairidh Adams and Sam Harding both started and played the full 90 for Kelty Hearts away to Dumbarton, but it was an afternoon to forget for the Fife men as they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to drop down to 3rd in the table.

Lewis O'Donnell started for QotS in their 1-1 draw at home to Annan Athletic, providing the assist for their goal, but was subbed off after an hour in another disappointing result for the men from Dumfries who languish in 7th.

Adam Carnwath was a 65th minute substitute for Cumbernauld Colts and despite another improved display they again fell to another defeat, this time a 2-1 home loss to high-flying Caledonian Braves. Sean Borland was not in the Colts squad (presumably injured).

The league 1 three, I’ve high hopes for. I don’t think Newman, sadly, has a future with us. But of the 3 that played yesterday I’ve the highest of hopes for Adams. Would love an academy keeper to cement a first team place cause he’s good. Be the first since Gallacher.

Tony Watt played the first 70 minutes for Motherwell in their 3-1 defeat away to in-form Hibs. The Steelmen remain 5th in the table.

Lewis O'Donnell was again an unused substitute for QotS who drew 1-1 away to Alloa. They remain 6th in the division.

Ruairidh Adams produced yet another clean sheet for Kelty Hearts who drew 0-0 at home to Stenhousemuir. The Fifers are 3rd in the table.

No Lowland League updates this weekend as both Broxburn and Cumbernauld's games were frozen off.
