Magic, absolutely magic.

Far from our best, but yet again the guys dug in, went at it to the death, pulled out a result.
Pleasing.

Now 9 points and +13 GD ahead of 7th.

Magnificent.
Trapa needs a boot up the erse.
Manny was absolutely brilliant tonight and strain maybe goes under the radar, thought he was really good again tonight.
Delighted for Goodwin, what a superb job he’s done. Maybe get him tied down to a longer contract 🤣

PS: Love the way Manny is so long leggedy elegant. One occasion Dees winger tries tae tak the ba round Manny - hes wee legs goin 3 for every 1 of Manny's.

The players are really 'going to the well' at the moment. Have gave an unbelievable effort over the Xmas period and won three and also kept a clean sheet against Celtic. Given the small numbers of our squad and our injuries and suspensions, that is really quite a monumental effort.
The players do look slightly jaded and understandably so, but i tell you what this group have developed an unbelievable tenacity and hunger about them. The longer a game goes on the more you fancy us to win it.
We must do business in the transfer market and help Goodwin out though, and asap. He needs other options, particularly in the final third. As i said yesterday, it doesn't bear thinking about it if Dalby gets injured or sold (and i think we better brace ourselves for Wrexham receiving bids this month).
We need a Striker, and i hope we have two lined up just in case.
Another tough game on Sunday at home to Hearts. Would be wonderful to get a signing in in time for this.

Dalby can’t sign for another club, he played a game for Wrexham at start of season.
So it’s us or them, think that may be good news for us

Didn't realise he'd featured for Wrexham this season.
So, worst case scenario is they recall him. I think they would only do this if they get an injury to a Striker as he was 4th choice there. Gonna be an anxious four weeks to see if that materialises.
As i say, i hope Goodwin and Cairney have not one but two Strikers lined up, just in case.

This is no dig at dalby at all but I think they’ll go for a bigger name signing than bringing sam back who hasn’t done much in a Wrexham top.
There apparently after Patrick bamford so that’s the sort of market there shopping in.

I'm not that concerned about Wrexham recalling him (yet).
More worried about someone like Rangers, Aberdeen, Hibs or Hearts offering them 200k and then loaning him back to Wrexham till June.
I guess we'll need to wait and see. Be a lot of relief if he's still here come Feb 1st.

Thought we were stinking in the 1st half but still should have scored a couple - they also missed a couple of great chances though.
Much better in the 2nd half although still not exactly great football being played. Was a game that could have went either way but we didn’t just sit back and accept a point, we went for it again and this team does not know when to give up.
Two more tough games in the space of three days coming up- keep it going lads.

Now I’m wanting goals from everyone but I’m old enough to know it’s not happening. Found a stat out regarding VDS.
13 times he’s came aff the bench with 12 goals scored.
18 goals in total with him on the park (inc starts).
He may not be scoring but he’s offering up more than that to help the team get the goals elsewhere.

Excellent Stat GFL. Huge + for VDS.

What's to do with Simon Murray? What a carry on. Who does he think he is? He needs to take a hard look at himself.

Thinks he the billy big bollocks when in actual fact he’s an extremely limited footballer who’s on the decline.
So embarrassing for him last night to act like that then 3 mins later let sevelj run off him.
Absolute Beamer for the rat

Didna really enjoy the 1st half. Lots mair possession than the BNBs but we didna seem to mak much oe it.
Bringing RG on cheenged things and made the 2nd half by a lot better.
Gled for Vicko. 1st goal. Great observation to upstage noodle top, wha couldna mark a bingo caird.
Couldna believe when Eh saw Holt tearin doon the left park. But what a peach inta Sam. Loved the celebrations and bedlam in the TC . Keay end.
And what aboot Tony D1ckhaed. "The gehm was won at 1 nil". There was still half an oor to go. Did he suffer a stroke efter the Penalty?
MOTM Dalby.
Online!
Simon Murray is a wee rat - but to be fair to him both adeboyega and Walton were giving him shit before the pen.... so fairs fair. Still happy to see his gutted wee face though.
Delighted with the result. 2nd half was great. Such a battling display...but cool calm and collected throughout
Wtf was holt doing on the left wing though 🤣
Absolutely love the team jim Goodwin has built
Is it too early to start dreaming of Europe?

While most of the praise is directed towards our last gasp winner again, it's worth noting Jack Walton.
Some had their doubts about him but everyweek he pulls off an important save and yesterday he stood up to the plate yet again.
Needs to practice them penalties all the same, got Celtic next week.

Tony Docherty said the game was won at 1-0.
(Dundee have 1 league clean sheet so far and we are now notorious for late goals)
..and that they sussed how we play & worked on defending long throws in training.
Ha ha.

I know it's been 48 hrs now but I'd still like to know what Kevin Holt was doing there.
And his cutback with a moving ball was perfect.
The ball from Ferry to the left wing was brilliant too.
Even the unheralded Odada had a hand in it!
Call it a team goal.
Compared to their shitey non-penalty.

A thing of beauty.
Won in a scrap.
Ferry on the right? Eh? Some fade on the pass.
Holt on the left wing? Eh? First time cross to feet.
Deadly Dalby cool as you like
As you say, a fantastic team goal

I thought it was Manny and not Odada.

Odada won the ball first and played it to Manny, Manny to Ferry, Ferry to Holt, Holt to Dalby BOOM!!
FTD!!!
