Had a feeling we'd take something from the game.
A really good point which keeps us ticking along.
Big shout to Holt and Gallacher but all the players involved did great.
That's a poor Sevco side but we looked calm and composed. Good for our confidence.
A wee bit concerning that we were just hoofing it anywhere for large parts of the second half but I'll take it. The next step in our development is learning how to play out and keep the ball better when coming under pressure from teams like the Glasgow 2.

First half was very decent, the second half was a tough watch tbh.
That said its points that make prizes and that one takes us to the 20 point mark.
It's also worth noting although the opposition may not be to there usual level they are still more than decent on their home patch.
The fight this squad of players are showing us this season is what we have been missing for far too long. Sleeves rolled up, scrapping for everything and very streetwise.
There wasn't a failure today for me, special mention for Walton who had his best game for us, a human wall at times.
Onwards to St Mirren.👊

A good, hard fought point earned at a ground we hadn't taken anything at since 2011.
Was surprised Adegboyega was dropped and he changed the formation, but credit where it's due, it paid off.
Agree with Redford above, the next step has to be evolving into a team who can handle the pressure of going on and pressing home the win when we are in front in these type of games, but progress is definitely being made. The team definitely have a resilience now.
Jack Walton Motm. His best game for Utd.
Shout-out to Sam Dalby too. 5 league goals in 6 games is a superb return, considering he doesn't get much service. He's proving to be clinical.

Excellent point there yesterday and for once or was nice to get some luck. On other days Sam Dalby would’ve been offside, their handball would’ve counted and so would’ve their offside goal. Jack Walton was magnificent, we have no chance of keeping him sadly but if there’s even 1%, get it done.
That was only my third game at ibrox so 3 games undefeated now (cup semi 3-1 in 2014 & 2012 Scottish cup 2-0). The scenes when we scored were superb, love shoving it up them minky bastards.

Baldy Phil's teas oot at 6 (Daily Rangers)
hope it wasn't something we did

Anyone know why Docherty was on commentary instead of in the squad? Was in the squad last time out so I'm confused? The club need to start talking about what's going on with him. When he's fit he's a good asset, but if he's never fit he's a fucking liability.

He said in commentary that he has a calf issue and felt a tweak this week and Jim also said a few weeks ago that he had a calf injury.

His fitness is absolutely pathetic for a professional sportsman tbh. I really do like him as a player, but he either needs to get back playing regularly or he can gtf off our wage bill. Ridiculous that Jim is keeping him as captain tbh, there are much more deserving options.

Docherty can’t get a new deal

Have to agree with you and Mock Chop.
Maybe just at that age where all the previous injuries catch up with him but needs to be moved on if can’t play 25 + games a season.
Seems strange that over the last 5 seasons we had a glut of central midfielders from the academy and now we only have Odada to fill in.

When fit & healthy, he’s an asset to the team.
But it’s always a new injury, and a vague return timeline. Which tells me something else might be going on.

as an aside, Ross Graham was out for 4 weeks on October 11th

I'm sure I read a report recently, can't remember the player involved but sure he was in our division, where the player returned from injury two months ahead of schedule. What the fuck is it with our backroom team when players always return much later than expected? I don't enjoy knocking the club but this is an area we could be much much better in.

Ryan Strain returned two months ahead of schedule could be him? Think Goodwin is just being cautious as we have loads of games in December.Â

Docherty: Asset when fully fit. Unfit say 40% of the time. 10% easing him into matches as subbie. Money bettter spent elsewhere.
Going back on thread: 5 hours travel. You board bus on the off chance the games going to go ahead. Jams 'a the road, still on the bus now still sitting there on the off chance. When you reach Temple of Doom you've 45 mins to get prepped after being cooped up a' that road.
Full credit to every last one of them, this is some team. Never fail to dig deep.
MOTM: Walton, away support.
Two wee moans: shut up shop too early, gave Hagi the gadgie too much room and stood off Czerny and watched him do his thing.

An aside: Stats discusion - one that rarely lies and best reflects attack and defence is goal diff - 4th best in table => possie on table 4th.
