Docherty, Graham and Moult all still injured. As well as Sibbald who won't be back till next year according to Goodwin.
Ryan Strain back in match day squad however.

A massive test in which once again we will need to dig deep, I'm sure we will though.
Anyone know what kind of injury Docherty has this time? It's so frustrating with this guy, he really makes us tick and I feel we maybe got away it on Saturday due to them only playing two in the middle but Saturday will be different with them playing a midfield 3 I guess.
Big Ross Graham trained today going by the social media photos.
I think we will sneak a draw and our fans will get fully behind the manager and the players.
JGTA.

Docherty's big toenail came right off seemingly. Nasty one if true.

There has to be a deeper issue with Docherty. He's picking up far too many varied injuries.

Temple from the Courier says end of January likely for Sibbald.

Our biggest test this season (I see the Old Firm as free-hits somewhat)
I’d really love Goodwin to be the first guy to put them in their place this season, and we should be setting up to win. But a draw is a good result here.

Reckon we could see Stephenson in centre midfield with Thomson going to RWB, not sure what that says about odada.

Stephenson would certainly offer the combative energetic style needed in there, not a position that's new to him either. Maybe see him there more often when Strain is ready to start a match and Sibbald is missing.

I reckon it says, parting of ways in January, failed to settle in Scotland etc

With 13 new signings you're usually going to get one or two that don't work out the way you hoped. Saying that, he's barely featured for the first team so maybe there's still time for the lad to come good.
He's a contract signing though, not a loan signing so doubt he would exit when the January window Slams Open.

Is that just your guess or do you know this to be happening? Because tbh if it's just your opinion of what the team will be then it doesn't really say anything at all about Odada. I'm sure he's just not had his opportunity yet because the team is doing well and we have several options in that area of the team. Time will tell I suppose.

Goodwin was speaking about it in paper today

Ah right I see. Could maybe just be playing his cards close to his chest possibly? I hope we have some of our key players back as I'd give anything to beat these sheep molesting bastards

Nothing in it for the first 45, would like to see Trapanovski having more of a go down the line instead of cutting inside.
Solid first half.

Well that was pish.
Jack Walton stopped us getting a bit of a doing.
If we only sign one player in January it has to be a pacey forward.
Offline
Just couldn't keep a hold of the ball, midfield and big Dalby kept on giving it away.
Thought Stephenson played very well tonight in tge numerous positions he played and Jack had his best performance in a United shirt
Odada looked better but it was a low bar he set and Strain got some minutes.
Poor day at the office all round.

I agree we need a Striker but if Sibbald and Docherty are going to be out , then we also need another Centre mid unless Odada comes on to a game.

They're pushing at the top for a reason. They have good attacking options. If anything I felt it showed our limitations middle to front in transition.
JG was trying to play like an away game in Europe and it worked well up to a point but it always looked like they would find a winner.
We need to get over it quickly and reset for Wednesday.

Thought the difference was the quality of the substitutes they were able to bring on made the difference. Plenty of effort today but not much else. Can’t be too disappointed but Wednesday’s performance will tell us more about the team.
Thought the Utd fans were brilliant today 👏

One that can find the back of the net regularly.

Even with everyone fit, they have more depth and definitely more pace than we do. We struggled to create much and Walton made a superb save to keep us in it, but at the end of the day we went to the home ground of a team that has won every game this season bar one, that came from 2-0 down at Celtic Park last week to get a draw, and that were joint top before today (and top now), and we came within 10 minutes of getting a 0-0 draw. Given the players we were missing, I think our lads deserve more credit than they're being given.
Agreed.

Goodwin mentioning in his post-match interview that Dalby was taken off through injury.
Bit of a disaster if he misses Wednesday, particularly if Moult is still unavailable.
Why not give Fotheringham a chance up top ? It's Motherwell at home, not Celtic away.
The lad can score goals.

He certainly didn't sound confident that any of our injured players will be back on Wednesday. Good to see Strain back at least. I'd like Fotheringham to get more opportunity too but not sure he's center forward material though, definitely has an eye for goal but he'd get bullied I reckon.

It's worth a punt imo.
He at least has shown he's a lad who can score if the ball breaks to him in the box.
Van Der Sande hardly ever even gets in the box.

Yeah, I like Fotheringham as a player so wouldn't be against trying him but not sure we'll ever see it though. I'd certainly be giving him more game time out wide though as he scored plenty without being an out and out striker. A lot of players who stayed on from last season have already shown they can hack it at Premiership level so why not Kai?
