Yes indeed but I was thinking more along the lines of the classic left back #3.

They've given Lucius #17 maybe more befitting his adaptability.

Technically he was. But then he left before the season started. Only wore it in a friendly.

I haven't been as impressed by some of the signings as some on here but after watching a bit on YouTube and his interview I get a good feeling about the lad.12 Signings you're doing well to only get 1 flop

Middleton: sell, thanks for you're best efforts last year
Buzzing with signings so far, not just quality but balance, right players for positions.

He does need games, so do others, Kai for one.
He does need games, he's a mile off it, so we're now in a situation where the season's started, we can't put people on just because they need game time.
Chicken and egg, yes he needs game time but no he's not got what it takes without proven game time.
That said, hope he comes good. So hope I'm wrong.

He'll get cameos plus will no doubt play in the tinpot trophy next round. He had no pre season at all remember. I understand your point but just mental to suggest that we sign the guy then put him out on loan when he's not even been given a chance.
