He was on their books for 9 years though so must have something about him. It's very likely he's been signed as back up so I'll only worry if we don't sign another keeper. Hopefully Jack Walton will be back, but if not I'm sure there are plenty of good options out there.

Richards is surely 100% a backup. In his interview he looked like he couldn't believe his luck to have signed for us.

He is most likely a backup keeper, but maybe he’s just a nice, pleasant guy and is excited and appreciative of the chance to play for our club. Not everything has to have this negative, backhanded slant to it.

TEK - it's not my fault Walton has never played for Luton's 1st team, the boys on Twitter maybe would have known him from his reserve team experiences.

Very quiet on here.

While we wait for another signing or even a rumour, we used to get linked to some cracking players.

Josimar, John Robertson from Newcastle, Paul Lambert to name but a few.

I would loved to have signed Lambert from St Mirren, a very underrated player.

Aye,we used to spend daft money on players too though. We are pissing into much smaller puddles these days, but I'll be hoping for some mystery signings that turn out to be real gems all the same 🙏🤞

I doubt we will hear much until after the Euro's now. That's not to say that deals won't have been made or contracts signed. I'm guessing the club will probably be waiting until after the tournament before making any announcements.

I hardly think we will be waiting that long,our season starts before the Euros finish. No chance we aren't doing anymore business before the middle of July.

Edit to add, if a deal is signed then why would we wait weeks to announce it? We won't be signing many players that will be involved anyway,certainly not involved in the latter stages.

Yeah,just can't see it tbh. Our season is absolutely priority and preseason starts soon,players need to be in and training. No way at all we can afford a month long hiatus
