Re: Ayr United tickets

The sales in the Jerry Kerr have been quite slow. Utd are drip-feeding out the tickets one block at a time (actually, in half blocks) and there is still a whole half block nearest the Jim McLean Stand to be released, whilst the other three half blocks still have tickets left and it also appears Utd haven't actually released the three front rows in these areas (the restricted view seats). The two and a bit sections nearest the Eddie Thompson Stand have still not been released and I'm guessing only will if the demand is there, which it doesn't look like there is tbh which is a bit surprising.

Surely, punters aren't taking the huff and not going because we weren't given The Shed? No idea if that is the case but if anyone didn't go for this reason you have to question who they actually support: Dundee United FC or The Carling Stand aka The Shed?

Too much commotion

Re: Ayr United tickets

Why are the foundation marketing the game and the club aren't?

Re: Ayr United tickets

There will be 10,800 there.
The Dode Fox upper & lower & the Eddie Thomson upper & lower will all be 'sold out' despite hundreds of empty seats in the wings.
The Jerry Kerr section D will have 250 home supporters spread out.
There will be 280 United supporters in the Shed, Ayr United that is, sorry.
The Jim McLean Fair Play must be falling down or something so there will ne no chunt in there.
Now can we get on with the game.

Well the game isn't until tomorrow so there's still a full 24 hours left for people to discuss the subject if they want to,cheers though.

Re: Ayr United tickets

50 tickets left in section B of Jerry Kerr, that will leave only section A unsold.  Imagine they’ll need to get that opened as well.

Re: Ayr United tickets

Maybe there's work needing done, maybe getting the certificate costs £X regardless, maybe both.

There's no point fixing the stand or paying for something we likely didn't need this season as long as it can be carried out in the summer.

As things stand everyone that wants a ticket has got one, the JK holds more than The Shed, the JK isn't sold out yet, so there's no real issue other than a load of fans that are too young to remember the Shed being the home end want to sit in there.

"Don't F*cking ever offer me that again!"
