Ollie Denham

Not selected today, Ross Graham picked instead and in fact he's not played even 1 minute since Brian Graham ragdolled him in the Betfed game at Tannadice.

Surely today was a chance to give him a game and try and grow his confidence?

If Goodwin has decided he really doesn't fancy him, then it looks a very poor move to have signed him and indeed so many defenders when we are crying out for another forward.

Things are going well just now, granted. But get the feeling the wheels could come off quickly given an injury or two at the top end of the pitch. Hope i'm wrong.

P.s. if he ain't gonna play the kid at all, send him back. Doing the lad no favours just keeping him here miles from home for no reason.

Yeah, said this the other day myself, no point him being here at all.

Re: Ollie Denham

Results are good, so Goodwin gets a bit of slack from me.

However,  I am amazed we played Louis Moult yesterday, in that tournament. If he had got injured, we are in big trouble n the forward areas and relying on youngsters (who may have great potential) to get us promoted.

Re: Ollie Denham

The young lad is only 21 and miles from home, maybe he is just taking a little while longer to settle in.

I would have liked to have seen him play yesterday also but certainly not in front of Graham.  Keeping the winning momentum going won't do us any harm.

I think all of us are a bit edgy when it comes to the fitness of Moult but he needs games and goals in order to get the very best of Loius Moult.

Squad wise, adding another striker. I am sure Goodwin would also like another but there's nae money left in the pot.

Slightly off topic but we should be  trying yo offload Tony Watt in January to free up some wages.

No-one will touch him mate.

Played nine games this season (14 if we include the friendlies that he also played in), in a lower league. Zero goals. What's more galling is he hasn't even really looked like scoring. We're winning despite him.

Re: Ollie Denham

Thanks for best efforts son but doing nobody any good staying.
