I used to be a PES man but converted when Fifa 10 came out. Sensible World of Soccer is still my all time favourite footy game though. Old School.

Got a few games on my wishlist this year. Going for WWE2K15, FIFA 15, The new tomb raider, Assasins creed and GTAV for the PS4.

I'm still playing Mario Kart on the WiiU at the moment.

I give my 4 year old girl an old Wii racing wheel controller and she thinks it's her that's playing it while I am sitting next to here playing it for real on the gamepad!

Also I have to admit that I managed to convince the wife to call my wee girl Daisy, after Princess Daisy in Super Mario Land on the Gameboy..

She might resent me when she is older, but it is one of my favourite all time games.

Could be worse though, Robin Williams (Mork from Ork) called his daughter Zelda after Legend of Zelda on the NES!

Everyone used to be a PES man until PES became shite (PES 2008). I stuck with PES because I never really took to FIFA and even FIFA 13 (last one I played) seemed very bland, predictable, etc. I play PES 2013. Best footie game out of the lot imo.....the most recent PES 2014, is rank, but am looking forwards to both new footie titles.

I game on PC, so my experience of games will be bit different to console counterparts (better graphics, smoother frame rates, etc), but of the handful of fairly recent games out that I would strongly recommend (and by that, I amn't just throwing in any shecht which I thought was kind of 'ok'):

Dishonored.
Wolfenstein, The New Order.
Bioshock Infinite

Bioshock Infinite and Dishonored especially, are really well crafted games, that take place in interesting, artistically stunning, and very original comic strip worlds, with fkn brilliant gameplay.

Wolfenstein, cheesey as fuck 'America, Fuk Yeah!' B movie story woven into a pretty damned excellent over the top Nazi shooter, complete with dual firing AK-47 wielding possibilities, exploding heads, limbs, n torsos, and of course, shreiking meglomanical Nazis all over the fkn shop.

Just started Dishonoured on the ps3, got bioshock infinite too but no played it yet. Might give wolfenstein a go. Geeza shout if anyone comes across a good game for the ps4, getting bored wi the same 2 games (thief and final fantasy:a realm reborn).

Working offshore at the moment and the vessel I am on has a PS4 in the dayroom with several titles, one of which is Killzone, Shadow Fall.

Ignore the largely lukewarm 'reviews', this game is pretty damn good........or I have though so at least for the 8-9 hours or so I have played into the single player campaign.

A little underwhelmed by the power of the PS4 though. Unlike the previous gen consoles, I can actually bring myself to play these 3d shooter/adventure games on the PS4, but games run on it like they would run on my gaming PC from 5-6 years ago. I certainly won't be buying one for my own front room and think that quite frankly, they aren't such great value for what you get.

Also played FIFA 14 on PS4. A massive imporvement on what went before and is perhaps the first FIFA game that I can say I actually like. I was quite annoyed however when I discovered that EA won't let me sit and play an offline league or cup. All you can do without an internet connection is sit and play single games. No doubt this is to encourage gamers onto their online services where they drop all manner of 'premium' content. Fucking EA penny grabbing cocksuckers. If FIFA 15 is the same deal, then I shall be sure to pirate it.
