I'd heard about a month ago that Goldie wanted him at Swansea. Assumed it must have fallen through.
Wouldn't surprise me to see this happen now.
Can we possibly expect a Managerial appointment next week? Given we now only have one 1st team coach (Fox).

Pretty sure Bowman was helping with the warm ups on Wednesday so potentially stepping up to help out.

Either that or Mulgrew/Watt are getting promoted to player/coaches.

Total conjecture of course and flies completely in the face of the common theory.

Of course. I'd have been much happier if it was the goalkeeping coach that was away to fuck tbh

What if.....asghar snr ISNT the tyrant people make out...what if instead he' weak and listens to the the fans
Nieslon - fans didn't like - didn't fight him leaving
Mellon - fans didn't like - didn't fight him leaving
Courts - got dogs abuse - didn't fight him leaving
Asghar junior - got abuse for who his dad is - didn't fight him leaving.
What if asghar is just trying to give the fans what they want?

I think you are not far off the mark here. Asghar does not have a tough skin. He wants to be popular, but, he has a near impossible balancing act to perform: He has convinced Ogren that a) he is the best person to run he club, and b) what he learned at Manchester Met can be applied to a mid size SPL club.
I think by appointing Ross, he compromised his core philosophy by offering Ross more authority than had been afforded to Mellon and Courts. Under Courts, senior players eg Mulgrew were shown more deference than Ross was willing to offer. There was also a conduit between the youth team and the 1st team.
Under the Asghar/Sporting Director model, the coach reports to the Sporting Director, first, not the Board of Directors. Furthermore, there, is really no BoD, rather, an Executive Committee.
The problem for Asghar, as I see it, is accountability. He cannot blame a coach for the team’s failure when the coach is following the agreed philosophy. Similarly he has to account to the Chairman, why, £12m of his own money has been spent and the team is bottom of the league. Ultimately, his position is just the same as a fellow alumni of his MSD course, Ashley Giles (Head of Cricket England), who, was sacked for the failure of the English cricket team.
As far as Adam Asghar is concerned. He needs to be unburdened from the association of his Dad and the nepotistic suggestions. He is finishing his Master’s degree in Wales, anyway, so, I think the move to Swansea is sensible.
