I'd like us to speak to Stephen Bradley the Shamrock Rovers Manager.
Took over in late 2016.
Since then he has won them -
FAI Cup - 2019/20 (Shamrock's first Irish Cup since 1986)
Irish Premier Division - 20/21 + 21/22
President of Ireland's Cup - 21/22
Took them into European football.
Currently top of the Irish Premier Division and on course to win their 3rd title in a row (7 points ahead of Derry City with a game in hand).
He's also shown them a degree of loyalty by turning down a bigger club in England (Lincoln City), so hasn't just jumped at first offer (unlike Courts).

He's a good shout but with them being in the Conference league group stages as well as looking good for the league title I can't see us being an attractive option.
Which is our big problem. I don't think we are an attractive option for any manager at the moment.
For me Michael O'Neil would be a good shout. But whoever we get, they'll need a strong hand to deal with the divas in the club.

Fox wouldn't surprise me if he has a good week this week.

Head says Michael O’Neill but heart says Sir Craig.

Levein in for Asghar.

Would love us to go for Lennon but I know there is zero chance he would work in this current setup.
Don't want to make the post about something else but if Asghar is there success will be short-lived with who ever it is.

Dear Charlie and Tony W,
Now that you have done for Mr Ross, can you now move on to Mr Asghar. I don't like players having all the power, but I am realist.

Would love CL back as he would knock some egos into touch in the dressing room but I can't see him taking just a Head Coach role at the club. He had a fair amount of oversight when he was here and at Hearts, I can't imagine he'd want things dictated to him by Fat Tony.

Good shout with the Shamrock Rovers but Tony has spunked the budget and I doubt there will be anything left for more compensation.
Of the guys that are out of a job I would love Levein back but again there is nae chance of him working under the ex copper.
So that leaves us with Kevin fuckin Thompson or a Fox/Ashgar double act.
Geezuz what a fine mess you have got us in Tony.

Don't worry Tony says the Lewis Neilson compensation will cover it....

I think Liam Fox should be given until Christmas to make his mark. He is a highly rated coach, and was at the club before Jack Ross.
Let's give him a go.

I think that's who it will be also.
£10 million doon the drain and we have an untried manager trying to turn round players who have downed tools and bottom of the league.
I suppose the only way is up.

He managed Cowdenbeath at a higher level than Courts managed. He was a disaster like but never mind.

Shaun fucking Maloney? Really??

Whole thread is based on the wrong premise.
We will hire a coach no doubt.
Again.
When indeed what we are crying out for is a manager.
Levien.
Lennon.
Tommy Wright (who wouldn't touch us ....would anybody half decent ? )

I genuinely don't care who the next manager is. He'll either be a yes man and we'll carry on as before (until he's ejected at the end of the season) or we'll get someone that causes too much friction and also fails on the pitch.

You could be right there Finn, maybe the Fox stays but Big Dunc allegedly meeting with Big Tony this week wonder how that will go.
Meanwhile in the real world we can't score and we have a non existent midfield. Nothing to do with Tony I see on some posts. Aye gid un !!
#UnitedInPursuit is correct, we're lagging miles behind.

Whoever we get , experienced or a rookie
Manager it is the quality of the players on he park that matters.
As it stands its a long road back from 12th position with the squad we have.
Hopefully we can get back in touch with the pack soon or......

If Ogren wants to make sure he gets this right, he’ll take the hit on compo, and go get Derek McInnes and Tony Docherty. The 6 figure sum he’ll spend on getting them will be dwarfed by the hit he takes when we get relegated if the next appointment goes tits up.
McInnes would be the right choice for us, knows the club, loads of experience, would easily get us top 6 and pretty sure even Charlie and T.Watt would get behind him.
Big question is would he work for Asghar? McInnes is one of the most respected figures in Scottish football amongst managers, so will know exactly what went on with Jack Ross.
