Please bin the #UnitedInPursuit hashtag.
I can only surmise that it is some kind of analogy that we will be like a pride of Lions, hunting down in packs, in pursuit of our prey. Well, it couldn't be more inappropriate, in that regard.
Bin it, it's embarrassing as fuck and the fans hate it.

It's better than that "United Way" garbage the previous chairman came up with.

They're all nonsense.

#United in the shite

I also am not a fan of this sort of nonsense, but maybe it was prophetic and we're just giving everyone else a starty before pursuing, catching up then gloriously finishing tenth.
At this point in time I'd be happy with that.

The media team read the forums so hopefully bin this pish

Serious question, but what difference does it make? I have many concerns about the manager and the teams performance, but couldn't give two hoots about a hashtag.
Some of the old school lads must shake their heads in despair at the modern fan.
Complaining about hashtags indeed.

Then you're obviously not a fan. If you don't understand that other fans ripping us about it is an issue then you do not have the mentality of a regular football fan.

The two aren't mutually exclusive ffs.
You can be unhappy at the teams results and performances and still find the hashtag embarrassing.
It doesn't need to be one or the other.
By the way i'm hardly a 'modern fan'. I've watched Utd for nearly 40 years, so you can wrap the condescending pish.

Eh'm in my 60s we Grandkids, and've supported United since 1966, and Eh think it's a load a nonsense.

It possibly should just be ignored, but it is just more evidence that they don't really understand their key audience. It's just a shite hashtag.

Not too fussed about the hashtag. They're always cringeworthy no matter which club it is. One of those shite "corporate identity" things football clubs have adopted these days, and we're no exception unfortunately.

I think you are about right. It’s just a vacuous statement created by someone from a marketing background who knows nothing about the club nor it’s fanbase.
I walked past a youngster (admittedly in Lennoxtown ) with a Celtic merchandising t-shirt with the slogan “We never stop”.
Are people actually paid to devise this crap?

I agree not something to lose sleep over. However with the Celtic one you get the impression that it makes sense. They always play to the last kick of the ball. Postecoglu seems to be really hard working - bringing in more players etc. Our one is just poorly thought through. In pursuit of what? Too easy to take the piss out of...

Yes, in pursuit of what? Excellence, Victory, Glory or even central defensive midfielder.
Reminds me of “Glasgow’s Miles Better” Miles better than what?
