Oh so it's not reading then, just assumptions.
Cool, have a good night old timer, no big deal and none of us needs to fall out FTD!Indeed, I have no intention of falling out with a team mate. And yes, the Dee are well fucked.....
On that we can all heartily agree 😂😂

Callum Butcher, anyone heard anything about him?
Is he training with the first team or youths?
I would think that the club won't be difficult to deal with, I heard a wee rumour the other week that Motherwell were interested. He was training alone, with one of the fitness coaches, last i heard.
The rest of the squad not interested in having him back into the group after what he done to Benji.
The rest of the squad? WTF has someone's affair (pun intended) got to do with them? They are there to do a job. Let them get on with it!
Agree to some extent.
- On the one hand we're asking guys to train without him day him day in day out when they can't look him in the eye and the resulting whispers etc that brings about.
- On the other hand they just have to suck it up and get over themselves .
I just wonder if six weeks or so of grovelling would helped.
If it could be made to work, I'd sooner see him than dross.
.. Edit .. ffs put this post up based on Orcajun's original post !
If he's causing this degree of angst on here that's a reflection of what's going on in the dressing room.
- get rid.
- More important things to worry about.

Suspect it's the other thing Butcher was 'alleged' to have done that has put his team mates off him, far moreso than the rumour of having a carry on with Benji's missus.
Which was?

I was told that the humping another players gf is a load of crap and that he thumped two players in a training ground bust up and also had a go at young Asghar, remember Carsons beautiful black eye just after Butch was suspended?

Hope so as we need a smarter version of Butcher to break up play.
Putting Butcher's off the field antics to one side, he still hasn't matured on the pitch, he is a major liability from the 1st minute.
I can do without his early bookings and long punts up the park.

Butcher is limited as a player but think other than the spell where he had 2 reds in quick succession, can usually manage what he's dealing out. How many derby's did he put out a bit to a dee, get a yellow and play the rest of the match without being near to a 2nd yellow? It laid down a marker in these games.
If his inclusion is disrupting team harmony, then he has to go imo

Nah, you are being far too reasonable. Seems far more likely the club doesn't know what it is doing and we should all have a meltdown
Two days ago that is exactly what would have happened, but luckily the herd mentality has changed now.
It is good the fans are positive again though, its better for everyone.
Hopefully we see a new goalie sign soon.
You are a right royal plonker aren't you. "Herd mentality", really? As much as getting Levitt back is good and Fletcher might be, even Ross says we are "significantly short" of players so I think the "herd" will be expecting more action ASAP.

Suspect that we don't have grounds to dismiss Butcher so if he doesn't agree to go then he sits at home and we pay his wages! Best he moves on. Surely we can easily replace him. Gogic.

Training ground fisticuffs happen all the time. IMO that’s far less of an issue than screwing a team mate’s bird. No idea which, if either, happened, but no way would a player be frozen out for a few punches thrown. IMO.
Back on topic - I’m assuming Tony Asghar will be working on signings while the team is in Spain. Surely any new signings arriving in the next 2 or 3 days would join the rest of the squad in Spain?
You're probably right but I think the main issue is with Asghar Junior, Butch tried to 'have him' and only a couple of players stopped him from doing so.

Linked with another Ozzie.
Ben Garrucio. Left Back for Western United. Played for Hearts 2018-20
Another one who'd need a work permit.

One of the massive advantages of Brexit is that it's now much easier to bring in non-EU players who previously wouldn't have met the criteria.
No idea as to the veracity of the story itself, but signing him could he arranged over a cup of tea at the Home Office.

Read elsewhere that both him and the Aussie keeper both have Italian passports so might not be an issue.
Just checked and the keeper at least is eligible to play for both Australia and Italy so I'm guessing he will not be requiring a work permit.

If they both have dual nationality passports, that would certainly help. Hope if these are players we wan't the deals are concluded promptly. Season starts in 2 weeks, 5 days.
Interesting we are looking at a Left Back. Have felt that is an area we have been short in for some time. Must mean young Flynn Duffy is getting sent back on loan.

I also read that there is a DCT reporter out in Spain with the squad who has said the keeper is definitely a live option but that the left back is not as yet but is on our radar. Make of that what you will, but also rumours that the keeper has asked to have his contract terminated in order to join United.

Garrucho lost his place when Aaron Hickey broke through.
Word on Jack Newman who was absolutely outstanding for Peterhead yesterday. Real hope for the future.

His save from Ramirez was unbelievable. Fair play to him.

Italian passport in and of itself makes no difference since the end of EEA freedom of movement. He'll need a permit.
He'll get one though, no problem.

Total nonsense - there is no significant difference to non EU (arguably harder given new points system) - it is however significantly harder to get an EU worker in.
