Croatian side Rijeka are keen to take Tam Courts away from Dundee United, Courier Sport can reveal.
It is understood they have made contact with the Tangerines, with an unnamed English club also enquiring about his situation in recent days.
Rijeka recently parted company with their boss Goran Tomic.
If the Croatians follow-up their initial interest, Jack Ross would be the strong favourite to take over at Tannadice.
Courts had a superb first season as United manager, guiding them to fourth in the Premiership and into Europe.
The Tangerines boss was promoted to Tannadice’s top coaching job from within, having spent time working as head of tactical performance at the club’s academy.
Rijeka pedigree
Rijeka have been impressed by Courts’ work and are keen to take the United boss to Croatia.
They are one of the top sides in their country, finishing fourth in their country’s top division last season and landing a spot in the second qualifying round of the Europa Conference League.
They have twice faced Aberdeen in Europa League qualifying in recent years and beat Hibs – ironically with Jack Ross in charge – in last year’s Conference League.

I think every United fan should reflect on how much we all owe Tam tonight.
He's been great and he'll do so well in Croatia.

Is that you confirming he is away? You are obviously connected to the club in some way. Its fairly obvious, you are either not trying to hide it or you are attempting to sound like a member of staff when you are not.
For what its worth I dont care either way. But the style of your posts arent that of a typical forum poster.

Yup, there's always one ! Makes it interesting.
Tam:
If true, he's done a good job, we can improve.
Interesting names mentioned.
Could they work with Asghar ?
Would they want to work with Asghar in present setup ?

Guessing his replacement will be a young guy. Can’t see an experienced coach working under the current regime.

Tam got a job because he was a yes man and we had to watch a run of 15 games where we only won twice. Eye bleeding stuff and should’ve been punted.
Had Hibs and Aberdeen not of been so shit we would’ve struggled to make the top 6.
He owes us, Tony.

6 times last season we played against 10 men and only won once. We won 6 games in our last 28 in the league or something, That’s nonsense. We appointed a man who had only managed Kelty Hearts in the juniors, that’s also nonsense.
If we’d of had a good attacking manager we could’ve pushed Hearts for 3rd.

Slept on it and its still nothing.
What does it say about us that the last three managers that we have had, who have all met their objectives for the season, have left after the end of that season. Can I suggest that working with big Tony might not be all its cracked up to be. Presumably, one day, Adam will be the only applicant...

Struggled to win a championship against a part time side with the biggest budget. For all his 2/3 positions at the sheep his record in cups was poor
