Van Veen would be a great signing. There were also whispers on EF about Tony trying to bring Shankland back

Re: Summer Transfer Window

Hopefully Mullen remains a rumour and nothing more.

Can't see Shankland coming back. If it's true about Hearts wanting him, the money they can offer and the style of football they play would suit him more than here

Re: Summer Transfer Window

best thing about that list is McNulty's no on it

Why would Clark sign from Saints if Benji re-signs? Why go from #1 to maybe #2? Is this just a back-up in case Benji doesn't sign? Personally, I would rather we have a new goalie for next season.
Not too enamored about Harkes signing either. He is reasonable in some games, not enough for me to offer a new contract.

Re: Summer Transfer Window

what about looking to sign Levitt if he is not offered and extension at Man U - might face competition but i'd have him as a united player if the deal could be done

Re: Summer Transfer Window

I'd be offering Levitt a fairly decent wedge to sign permanently for 2-3 years. Great wee player. Have to assume he's keeping his options open but I'm imagine we'll hear one way or another soon enough. Seems to love it here.

The only prospect of Dylan being at Tannadice next season is if he signs a permanent contract at another club and joins us on loan again.

Re: Summer Transfer Window

Hopefully Tony just sticks to the domestic scene as his imports from abroad have been shocking and no doubt cost us a right few quid.

Zander Clark and Forrest would be improve the starting 11.

not fussed about Harkes who is very average but happy about Neilson as the young laddie looks to have something about him.

I heard a wee rumour from a guy at work that we will sign the boy Tiffoney from Patrick.

Be happy with that.

Seems a proper left sided winger. Something we've needed since GMS left.

Re: Summer Transfer Window

Better 1 or 2 quality signings + than 4 or 5 journeymen/has beens/never weres.

Re: Summer Transfer Window

Just hope that we do sign a good 6 or 7 with quality. No doubt we need alot of freshening up with alot of the championship boys moving on.

Forest/ or an exciting winger
Levitt and another 2 midfielders (if butchers away that is)
And a striker is needed badly. I'd be tempted to get rid of Clark as well as mcnulty as I feel we could do better.

Big pav still kicking about?

Re: Summer Transfer Window

5 or 6 signings sounds good but not as good as 5or 6 leaving.  Getting sub standard players out the door is never easy.

Re: Summer Transfer Window

Top priority must be a Defensive midfielder and a proper No.9

Re: Summer Transfer Window

Turns out the Gobshite that I work with was accurate.

Fast forward through all the hun shite to 43 minutes and Alan Rough confirms we have made contact with Tiffoney.

Heard tonight that he's signing for Utd in the next week after we met the release clause fee in his contract (75k).

We will see.

Not bothered if Utd don't get him.

Don't particularly rate him.
