........................Siegrist........................
.......Edwards...Mulgrew...Graham....
Freeman..............................Niskanen
..................Butcher....Levitt.......
.........................Harkes................
......................Clark...Watt..........
Subs -

That's what I'd play as well.

Yeah me too but wouldn't be surprised to see Liam Smith instead of Butcher.

I'd like to see Rory MaCleod take the place of one of our non strikers, he bagged a hatrick for the under 18s this week. I'd also like to see more of young Cudjoe at some point too.

Whatever the team I would like to see us get an early goal, will open up the game as they will have to chase it.
While i want to see our young strikers getting game time I believe he will stick with the quality street gang and play McNulty or Clark - simple reason if TC plays the youngsters and worst case scenario we lose and lose out on top 6 he will come in for so much flak. Through the season he has become so risk averse there is no way he is taking any risks in this match!

I would have Smith in front of Freeman,IMO he is a better all round player. However I think TCS decision will be whether to start with Mcdonald in CM or play Smith in there.

It will be same as last week but butcher in for McDonald
Clark and mcnulty - meh

Macleod playing for under 18’s this afternoon so that won’t be happening.

Max Biamou's trained for a couple of weeks.
Surely can get on the bench tomorrow? We need some sort of different attacking option on the subs bench, as there is very little to change a match.

Unbelievable.
What a monumental waste of money.

That was actually a good interview from TC.
Saying Biamou will be back in contention mid-April (so next week). No idea what the Courier are on about, in that case.
Also saying it's '50/50' whether we will see Ian Harkes before the season ends. Almost definitely out for tomorrow then. Actually think that's a blow. He tends to play his best in these games.

Yeah good stuff, get Tam away fae cliches he's a really articulate guy.

Yeah Shakey, he's coming on is our Thomas.
Was very careful NOT to say we needed only a draw.
He knew he would have been accused of negativity.
He's learning all the time.
Thomas Courts' Tangerine Army.
Or a dud, will tell you at 5pm.

Happy with Top 6. Yeah.
Happy with throwing awa 2 points. Na.
We were on top till we scored oor 2nd goal, then we got slack, and that slackness was to blame for losing twa goals.
Defence phucked up and Benji faux-pas for the 1st goal. Think there was a deflection for the 2nd beh the Drunk Drehver.
The match after we scored the 2nd was brutal to watch. And the 2 sitters fae McNulty and Smith shoulda been nailed.
Loadsa fowk roond me saying that we were playing for a drah. Canna believe TCs tactics. Didna mak any cheenges. I mean McDonald looked knackered beh 75 mins for a start.
Dinna ken how Tam managed it, but he did, so credit to him for that. But the quality of play fae the squad on the park has been brutal.
McLean was a bit one sided for some oe his decisions, but he's no the worst.
The Drunk Drehver shoulda been Yellow cairded for the dehv in the box?
MOTM for me Tony Watt.

First goal Levitt follows the ball and let his man run off him. That boy can play a hell of a lot better than he did today, just never had the desire to demand it from his team mates.
Second goal was coming and everyone bar our center mid knew it, no energy, no fight or quality in the middle for us.
Draw was a fair result I thought and I agree with the second booking. Adam though was clever, he was in the refs ear all day. He was debating as they went off at half-time and at the delayed restart to second half. We are just so nieve all over the park, near the end Clark let the boy run up the line in a counter attack when he should have snapped the boy in two.
MOM for me was the young lad Graham again, stood out for me and turning into a fine player.

Disappointing performance and result, but would have taken top 6 at the start of the season. Hopefully we can go on and secure 4th now.
MOM for me was Mulgrew.

Agree with regards to getting top 6 but once Dundee equalised yesterday there was only one team trying to win the game and it was not us which is not acceptable giving the backing the team got from the fans. What is the point in bigging up the young guys in the papers all week and not giving them a chance when everyone could see we needed to make changes. Couldn't believe it when Clark let the boy run away from him. If Levitt, MacDonald and McNulty are not here for next season then we need to be playing the young guys who will be.

I take my young lad to the games and he heard me swear for the first time in his life when Clark let him run away.
Hebtold his mum that dad shouted for one of our players to "break his legs". Nae skittles for him at the next game.

Don't agree with that, we had 2 massive chances to win the game (Mcnulty & Smith) when it was 2-2.
However if either Cudjoe, meekison or Mochrie could not have done more than Clark or Mcnulty in the last 10mins TC must think they are very poor players.

Benji shouldn’t play for us again. Get the new keeper in to prepare for next year.

Real positive getting the top 6 and a chance of pushing on for Europe. Well done United.
However there’s a fair few negatives over the season but let’s try and improve and get the job done. Vital gehms ahead.

Echo the sentiments above.
Ridiculous decision from Courts to make no subs yesterday.
Particularly as Kevin McDonald looked so tired (had a poor game all day). As did Levitt.
Utd's whole Academy schtick online does my head in tbqh. We never seem to show faith in our youngsters, despite them all doing well when called upon.
Even Ross Graham came into the team by pure chance due to the covid situation. He would never have gotten his chance otherwise. To say otherwise would just be untrue. It's Ross Graham who deserves the praise for making himself undroppable.
Yesterday, was the 3rd Derby this season where (imo) Dundee were the better side and created the majority of chances. For them to be in the ascendency in the game and for Courts to not react in anyway is an early warning sign for me (of his management skills).
Even if he has no faith in our youngsters he could have put Liam Smith in the middle of the park and brought on Freeman at RWB. We were getting over run in midfield. He done nothing.
Very poor management.
Top 6 for me is a hollow achievement this season given we are up against Aberdeen and Hibs worst sides for many many years. The entire division from Hearts down is on minus goals (and by quite a bit). The poorest Premiership in many years.
From here only 4th spot and clinching European football should be worthy of praise and be recognised as us having achieved something tangible this season.

Happy to have made top 6 of course, little financial boost (we all saw last years accounts)
Next job is to hold on to 4th spot, will be tough, mind.
Yesterday, if one of the sitters is in or if Siegrist’s attention is fully on his current club and not his next, we have a good 3 points and a real stranglehold on 4th.
But..
not using a sub was a ridiculous decision. Dundee lost their spark when Adam went off, and continued to tire. A couple of sets of fresh legs would’ve made all the difference.
Bigger picture, we have made steady progress each season since the Ogrens have turned up. But something has to change this summer.
The attacking personnel / approach.
A shuffle in coaching.
Courts / Asghar are going nowhere, let’s face it.
