The last 15 minutes we were crying out for some fresh legs and pace up front. With Watt out and Louis away, we didn't really have a viable option on the bench. McDonald was also running on empty for 10 minutes before he went off, and McMann was tiring. Liam Smith just back from a long layoff and won't have full match fitness yet, so Harkes was trying to cover for others in the middle, later in the game. I'm not sure it was out of choice that we sat back.
This opinion might not be popular, but I think we look to get forward more quickly without Mulgrew at the back. I'm not saying we're better at doing it when Mulgrew is out, but "more often" is a step in the right direction.
The fact that we kept 4 straight clean sheets whilst Mulgrew was out should have meant he didn't walk straight back into the team in my opinion. Haven't kept one since either

So, since the first 11 games… we’ve won 3 in 19.
That tells me a rookie gaffer has been pretty much found out by his peers.

Totally agree and also has a belief, despite evidence to the contrary, that his system is the best method for a team to play and win and the players are not executing - the best managers know when to teak and change systems to adapt to opponents

What that DOESN'T tell me is that in our first 11 games we won 6. And drew 3.
So what's your point caller?
Our Head Coach got rumbled after 11 games?
