Re: Livi Vs Utd - Wednesday 30/2/22 (7.45pm)

MOTM for me was Benji as if it wasn't for him we could have lost by a few more goals.

With what I have seen this year from UTD this season that's what we should be concerned about not the top 6.

St Johnstone have won five games out of 29 but they’re suddenly gonna win 4 or 5 out of nine games while we lose them all. Dundee too would have to do the same. I’d go to the bookies with that, you’ll get huge odds.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Agreed, not concerned about relegation myself either but have lost all enthusiasm over recent performances and still fizzing over another piss poor recruitment drive in January. Said at the time that some untested kid from Arsenal was not the missing piece of the jigsaw and now he's nowhere to be seen.

Wrong!
Tam has been told we have to be top six, if he fails then he could be unemployed.

I would not be surprised in the slightest if we go the next 9 games without a win. We are a team that doesn't score goals.
The split means anything is possible

Absolute dross served up last night.

Wonder what the fuck goes on at training all week? Every week.

Struggled to score goals last season and did nothing really to address that. Hope the big brains at DUTV ask this next time Tam sits down for a chat.

I agree for me I've been looking down rather than up all season such is my opinion of the current crop of players.

I think though that we have almost done enough the now to stay up but a top 6 spot would paper over the cracks imo.

The quality of the experienced players leaves a lot to be desired from back to front and the fact we loaned out so many young prospects in January whilst not replacing them was a but disheartening.

Man of the match AGAIN was Benji and young Mochrie done well when he came on.

What do you mean surely we practice neat little passing triangles that lead us no where fast until we give away possession or get harassed out of possession by teams that close down fast and leave something in the tackle like Livi did last night.

The way Livi played last night was awful to watch but they had a game plan of hoofing the ball forward and wining the second ball and made it work for themselves.

Does anyone have the stats are we creating more chances and not executing them than last season or creating less.

Also when are we going to start playing to player strengths or play a different player, anyone can see that McNulty is not good with back to goal he is better with balls played through the channels to him or cut backs from wide - none of which we seem to do but still persist in playing him in a way that does not play to his strengths

Nads, Safranko, Shanks .... any feckin body.
With Watt (top goalscorer pre Courts) we've scarce a goal in us.
Watt goes off, may as well go back to bus.
