Great win tonight. First time this season we've won a Premiership game at Tannadice and looked pretty comfortable in doing so.
That win and performance was really needed tonight and for once there were LOTS of positives.
Kevin McDonald's performance after not kicking a ball for nearly 2 years.
Niskanen taking on men, beating them with genuine pace and looking like a proper, driving winger.
Tony Watt finally getting his first goal for the club.
Dylan Levitt's rocket volley, which will be a strong contender for our goal of the season.
Young Rory McLeod making his debut at just 16 years old and 6 days. Becoming Utd's youngest ever player in doing so.
Keeping our 3rd clean sheet in a row.
All the other teams in and around us in the league dropping points (Hearts,Hibs, Motherwell, Aberdeen and Livi).
Looking like we have a wee bit of much needed height in the team now McDonald and Graham are in the side.
Last wee word on the latter. Had a bit of a torrid time at Dunfermline, was apparently a boo-boys target and of course had the indignity of his loan being cut short.
Since the boy came on at Celtic Park (only due to our squad being down to the bare bones) he has been an absolute rock at the back. Played a big part in 3 back to back clean sheets and it would have been 4 in a row if we never switched off in that last minute at Parkhead.
The lad is looking like the top prospect we had heard about 2 or 3 years ago when he was getting rave reviews at Queens Park whilst on loan. The lad deserves enormous credit for this turnaround in his season and career. That takes character.
Well done Ross.
Great Post!

Very good night for us, thought everyone was v good but our midfield we’re back at the top of there game, Levitt’s best game in months along with harkes, McDonalds calming influence definitely helped- gonna be a top top player for us when he’s fully fit
Butcher and Graham have been absolutely brilliant for us, both had very tough starts to the season and having shown they have a big part to play in our team
Niskanen for second goal was tremendous, why doesn’t he do that more often? There’s a player in him just need to see it more often
Finally strikers, I’m not mcnultys biggest fan however I thought last night he was v good that’s the mcnulty that was at hibs wasn’t giving the ball away as often some really nice flicks, and watt fucking superb

Have to agree with all the posts about that performance. From the first whistle their was something different about the team and once everyone is fit again hope we can push on from here.

Thought it was a strange decision to take off McDonald and put Clark on when they had just put the 3 subs on and were going for it.

Butcher signalled to bench McDonald was done, think they nearly scored from corner from his man just before, thought Clark was decent when he came on Tbf

Yeah thought so too just seemed a bit strange that we took off a DM and had the Arsenal guy on the bench and put on a forward when they were going for it but it worked out as we got the points. Show's what I know about football!
Uncharacteristically can I throw in a wee negative?
Not them canoning the bar on 12 seconds but two or three attacking plays early on which had me holding my breath as a good ball came in & watched the end product go just wide of the post, the ball was bouncing for us. I commented to my mate, 'when, not if'.
We really did not defend all that well for half an hour & we did use up a wee bit of luck, the first goal was easily theirs.
Motherwell did look like they had a wee bit more about them compared to your St Mirrens, Livies & Counties.
Negative observation over....

That was a turn-up for the books. One of the best performances this Season, certainly the best since the New Year. Considering Motherwell looked like a good side. Can we have some more please.
Levitts goal was a missile launch.
Eh’v criticised Harkes a few times, but that was his best gehm oe the Season ( so far I might add ! )
Thought that McDonald struggled a bit TBH. Think that’s how he was ta’en aff, but good on the guy.
Niskanen was a proper wingman. Great to see.
Graham. A level above for his age. Butch solid at the back.
Pity we hadna got another couple of goals. McNultys aff the post. Clarks over the bar.
Only wee smidgeon of complaint. It was like the phuckin Baltic.
Ref was useless. Let the Well away we a few oe handballs and fouls – some oe them right in front oe him. And the Lino on the Dode Fox side was amateur tae. Cheenged his mind a few times.
Oh Eh. And as far as Tony Watt’s concerned. Didn’t he Do Well !
