Any of you lads going to Gayfield tomorrow to see Declan hopefully take a run out for Kilmarnock.

Its also live on the BBC I believe.

Your second sentence for me.

The Arbroath vs Kilmarnock game comes in between an away tie to Celtic, Dundee and St Johnstone this coming Saturday.

I would guess this spell has hit most of us hard in the pocket and that a game in the Championship is as far from the mind of us than that of trying to banish the memory of our recent guff on the park.

Enjoy Gayfield if your going, good pub across the road from the park and take a big Jacket.

Re: Declan Glass

This is phuckin p1sh IMO.

He is without exaggeration, one of our better players.

I canna get my haed roond this TBH.

Even the fact it's Kilmarnock he's goin to, makes little sense to me. I mean they are Arbroath closest rival in their promotion bid (no to mention possible  Ground-sharing income)

We get rid of some of our own young Academy players, only to replace them with them with Academy players from elsewhere. And they dinna even get a look-in on Tuesday night.

Utter madness if he ask me.

Re: Declan Glass

Hadnae thought about Lichties angle.
So:
1/ Loan to Killie mental on its own merits.
also:
2/ It could help Killie, shitie plastic, central Scotland come up instead of Lichties 20 mile down the road. Certainly won't do Lichties any favours.

Why are we helping Killie, they're the last ones we want to see promoted ?

Mental.
Typical. Thanks Tam & Tony good ane.

“Declan’s at an age where he needs to play every week,” Courts told Courier Sport.

“Those fleeting appearances and moments are reserved for 18-year-olds and young players who are on the periphery."

“When you get to 20 or 21 you need to be playing regularly."

“If Declan was 18, we would have kept him."

“When a young player comes off the bench, the game is already open,” added Courts.

Re: Declan Glass

I believe that DG still has a decent chance of being a 1st team regular at Tannadice.
However a bit of a love in over his abilities seems to have broken out amongst some suppporters.
Atm he is not ready. He urgently needs to toughen up. He has come on late in games and shown the ability to go past a man but there's far more to the game than that.
He started at Motherwell away and im afraid he was abysmal did nothing but give the ball away including the one that led to Watts goal.  He was then hooked before Half time.
Hopefully he gets a lot of minutes for Kilmarnock and looks the player we all hope he can become.
