New 3rd strip

Seemingly getting unveiled on Monday.

Looks like a nod to the 3rd kit from season 95/96.

Re: New 3rd strip

This is an excellent opportunity for the club to monetise the wonderful support that has been provided by fans recently, and hopefully thousands of us will purchase the new strip.

Its also a superb way for fans to openly display their support of and loyalty to the owners and the executive team, who've really driven the club forward recently, especially with some exciting signings to follow soon.

I can't wait to see it.

Re: New 3rd strip

why go to the trouble of putting out a cup strip when we will be getting dreh humped by Deek's Killie on their skanky plastic pitch

Looks like prison issue in my opinion 🤣

Let's just hope we are a mean machine for the rest of the season 😋

Re: New 3rd strip

What a superb strip. Reminds me of watching United in the 90s playing some great football.

I think there could be a rush tomorrow morning, in fact a mate told me that queues are likely from as early as 4am.

I'll be heading down first thing for mine, they are bound to sell out by late morning.

Re: New 3rd strip

Cracking kit.

Very silly to only be selling 400 of them however.

These would have sold very well.

Re: New 3rd strip

Surely we aren’t daft to just be producing 400?

Money being left on the table here.

(I see it’s black socks too, that’s a win)

Maybe by making it only 400, it'll create a bit of hype around it and drive sales forward at pace.

Maybe if they sell out, the club has another 400 on short order that could be released due to "unprecedented demand".

Maybe the commercial department do actually know what they are doing with this one.

we could sell 28000 of them if we wear it all the way to the cup final...

Or maybe not.

Seems to me the whole thing is a bit of a shambles.

Re: New 3rd strip

I ordered 2 shirts, money taken out my account.

No confirmation email as of yet, 2 1/2 hours later. I’m not sure if I’m getting the shirts.

Re: New 3rd strip

I tried to order one, took around 30 minutes to get one in the basket and process the payment.

Didn't receive an email confirming the order though.

Got a call from the shop in the afternoon to say that the shirts were all gone but because my order went through they will honour the sale and get one to me - Macron are supplying some more but not until March.

And that is why Dundee United are famed for putting fans first.

Outstanding yet again from the shop staff ⭐⭐⭐

Well they have taken two payments so we'll see if I get one refunded!

Tends to have to happen when a contract is created.  You could also say, lying to fans by saying they are a limited edition of 400 to create a bit of hype when more shirts were always on order isn't putting our fans first (and is technically in breach of the law), but you wouldn't understand that, Tony.  You, my friend, are a total plum.

That’s good.

I had the same issue, £120 out the account but no confirmation email. Went to shop to get clarification. Took my name, went to the back to check then was told I’d get an email shortly.

No email.

Back to shop the day after, was told it was ‘just one of them sales that went through while the site was down’ so I’d get a full refund.

A waste of everyone’s time.
