Any update on Mulgrew and whether he's trained this week? Be a huge boost for us if he's back 100% fit.
Hopefully the two week break has aided Biamou's fitness also.

Aye hopefully mulgrew is fit and what about levitt noticed he's not on the bench for wales tonight.

I'm guessing he never travelled to their camp. He missed the Hearts game of course.

Carson still not back training?

I guess we will find out mate, starting on Saturday.
I'd certainly expect to start seeing him featuring (if not starting) on a regular basis. The boy was signed afterall to score goals for Utd and has now been here 7 weeks (this coming Friday). He must be fit by now surely?

As a side note. Mcnulty due back in jan

Mulgrew was in the pictures Utd tweeted yesterday of the squad training so hopefully he'll be OK for Saturday.

Mulgrew and levitt are back in full training read a bit of the scottish express online this morning. Also said a couple of coaches tested positive for covid last week but everyone else was tested and everyone was ok.

Thought we were heading for a draw today as neither team created much. Would like to see both sending off's again. Missed Levitts creativity today but thought Louis was good when he came on and made a difference. Fuchs injury stopped Bimou coming on as we needed to put there defence under more pressure but a good 3 points
Offline
A Big Big 3 points that was. Some fight fae the boys.
A great goal and a lot of great defending helped us win that, - 1st half SSBs were in front if only on stats.
2nd half, we were the better side, noticably when Louis Louis came on. Great to see him in Broon the balloon's pus a lot oe the time.
Regarding Harkys goal. When the coarner came in, did Mulgrew get a touch oe the ba to help it onto him?
Of coorse, efter we went in front, Aiberdeen through everything at us, but great defending was oor saviour.
The Butcher sending aff was bizarre.
The correct turn of events appears to be this.
1. Edwards was fouled beh Ramirez.
2. Then Edwards and Ramirez were squaring up ito ane anither.
3. Then Butch comes in fae the side and doofs Ramirez in the goolies. Daft chunt.
4. Madman musta seen it and shows the Red.
The Ojo incdent was bizare tae. He'd just got a Yellow2 minutes before for a bad foul on Butch.
He was running to the right oe the Goal and ran our the by-line and leaped our the hoardings. He stopped and some dafty leaned our the railings and took a shove at him. Ojo went back and confronted the boy. He gets a 2nd Yellow, and he's aff. He had to be "escorted" toward the tunnel. United are investigating the incident and there's a fair chance the dafty might get a ban for it.
MOTM for me Fuchs. But Louis Louis deserves a mention.

Great result, in a scrappy game full of needle.
Was questioning TC with his subs, but you know what? He got them spot-on. Well done TC.
Louis Appere in particular was very good today and swung the game in Utd's favour. I've always felt he had qualities (physique, strong running, quick etc) but he has sometimes flattered to deceive and certainly hasn't always scored or assisted enough in his career so far. Play like you did when you came on today Son and you'll do just fine for the club. Was aggressive, hungry and most of all just tried to run towards goal with the ball.
To the games big flash points.
Butcher - Fucking idiot and in fact a liability. How many times in these type of games i.e. Derbies or big atmosphere games does he lose the plot and get an early yellow? Being a midfield enforcer is one thing, but it has to be controlled aggression. I just feel he is always gonna cost us. Can see his Utd career on the slide after today. Self-inflicted.
Ojo - The fan who pushed him a disgrace and deserves any ban forthcoming from the club. No player deserves to have hands lifted to them in a football stadium. They're at work. That today really disappointed me.
And see those Utd fans on social media i have seen saying he 'assaulted', 'skelped', 'slapped' and clipped' the ball boy. Get a fucking grip eh? Anyone with a pair of eyes and half a brain in their head can see he put his hands out to stop his momentum and not collide with the ball boy/stair railings. Even seen some say he 'spat' at the Utd fan. He done no such thing. And didn't deserve what he got today.
Some of our fans are very selective about what is right and wrong depending on how it effects Utd.
Well, i'm not 12 years old anymore. Not everything DUFC related do i support blindly. Ojo having hands lifted to him was dead wrong and Utd should offer an apology to the player (even in private).
Last word, rightly, on Harkes winner. Fantastic, improvised strike from a player who i have never been the biggest fan of but has proven himself to be somewhat of a matchwinner this season. Well done Harksey, keep proving me wrong and you'll make a fan of me yet lad.
His goal reminded me of a previous Utd goal of the past. But can't quite put my finger on which. Anyone able to enlighten me?

We have to focus on the performance. A hard fought win in bizarre circumstances against a vastly improved aberdeen side.
Notable mention to Appere. I really hope he can make it at united but I still don't think he's good at any 1 job. He's strong enough but not a target man. He's pacy enough but not a winger and we've not seen him being a traditional poacher - so guess he doesn't have that in his bag...but today, he did an excellent job running the channels
Butcher was silly. In reality, it's something you might get in the pub with yer pals - it wasn't sore....so to me, Ramirez has dived. (I've never once rolled about with similar....but why put yourself in that position.
As for Ojo, I feel massively sorry for him but by the letter of the law, madden got it right. As others have said players have tye right to do their job without fear of being hurt by the audience. The worst thing for me is that unless united ban him and make a big deal out of it, United will get a huge fine - personally, I'd rather see money spent on players than fines. It also. Opens up the door to fans of the rangers, celtic and others to take cheap shots at our players. It needs stamped out early and I think the fan should get a few year ban, minimum and he can take his wee goon mates with him.
Be partisan all you like but he massively crossed a line- I'm just not sure why he didn't get a night in bell St.

Well done to Tam Courts and the players (apart from Butcher) for a clean sheet and a win, good response after some poor results and performances.
I also feel sorry for Ojo, can anyone explain what the offence was for his second booking? The only things I can think of are 'unsporting behaviour' or 'delaying the restart of play', and both of these seem extremely harsh

He retaliated and went back to argue with the fan that pushed him. You go into the crowd to celebrate a goal you get booked, you go into the crowd to argue the toss(no matter what the circumstances are) you get booked

Forgot to mention that I thought the Flags and Banner yesterday were brilliant and set the team and fans up for a win, well done lads 👍

I thought unusually the BBC commentator got it right. "You have to feel great sympathy with Ojo but he went back upstairs to confront the fan"
Glass pretty much admitted that after the match.
No sympathy for Butcher however.

Butcher was a bit daft, but he's been a good servant to the club and doesn't deserve some of the comments I've read since yesterday. The way that cunt went down from nothing more than a tickle was downright fucking embarrassing though

Numpty's been done according to the Blobby Channel and DFC Thamsins.

Butch was a dick, but from memory that's his first offski since he's been here 3rd time despite time considerable taunts fae The Fun support and players when on one booking.
Feel a wee bit sorry for Ojo who vaulted hoardings avoided ballboy was coming back on pitch when the Eejit shouted something which incensed him and he runs back toward eejit and handbags ensued.
But, sorry Ojo you just cannae dae that.
The game: great I thought, tight old fashioned hard fought Derby, no the greatest of skills but that's Scottish fitba.
Inspired subs by Tam, great to see Louis do so well and skin Broon.
Harkes I was thinking was getting outmuscled and a wee bit pushed around. The goal was a gem, although in acres of space, finest of touches fae outside of right foot, placed with perfection. Doing what he does best - highly skilled technical player.
The usual good solid performances fae Benji, Edwards, Mulgrew, McMann and Freeman always exciting bombing down flank.
Good stuff all round.

Totally agree with you TEK some of the comments defending the boy didn't sit well with me at all. If that was Fuchs being sent off for that after being pushed by a fun fan in the Derry we'd be baying for blood.
I'm embarrassed that one of our "fans" has done that. Totally unprovoked, the stuff with the ball boy is nonsense if he did touch him it was only to make sure he didn't go into him, the boy was already ready to have a go at him, I suspect he'll not be back at a United game for a while, if ever and deservedly so. It's taken the attention off what was a brilliant win for us.

But it's OK for people to start slagging our players off on here calling them a liability etc? Butcher getting written off and yet he's worked his arse off for the badge. In no way defending the ridiculous behaviour of the fan in question and he is now up on a charge and will no doubt be banned from Tannadice in the near future. But I'm fed up of hearing players getting written off by people with short memories.
