What team and formation?
In the last 4 games Tam has made just one change in each -
Ross Co - Mulgrew back in for Kerr Smith who became a subbie
Hibs - Glass for Levitt who was injured (wasn't a subbie)
Motherwell - reverse of above, Levitt in for Glass who was a sub
Livi - Glass for Fuchs who was a sub so maybe just feeling off-colour or wee knock
So tmrw Fuchs for Glass just?

Possibly.

Very nervous about this one. They've been a bogey team for us over the years and are extremely battle hardened.
I would be delighted with a draw.
The only changes I'd make from midweek would be Biamo in for Clark and Fuchs in for Levitt.
I think Mulgrew is due a rest soon too, but this isn't the game to drop him.

I'd definitely keep Levitt in the team. Would bring Fuchs back in, assuming he's totally fit.
Tempted to drop Clark.
He works hard for the team, yes.
But only 1 goal in 11 Premiership games.
Hard to see how Appere or Biamou couldn't have fostered a better return of goals given a run of games in the team.
It's a tough one as the old adage 'if it's not broken' springs to mind.

Usual team with fuchs back in for glass, 2 games till international break boys can get a rest then! Big push

Any chance the game will be off?

Strange call from TC to make as many as 4 changes and particularly as he dropped our top scorer in Pawlett and Niskanen who's assisted in 3 goals and scored 1 himself in the past 3 games. Big chance given to Appere and Chalmers today and they never took it.
Have to say it was an odd call to drop Freeman for Kerr Smith as well. Young Smith is undoubtedly a great prospect but i don't feel he's quite merited a starting jersey yet. Particularly out of position.
Disappointing to register a defeat in the game. Even a draw would have kept the run going.
Our continued struggle to put the ball in the back of the net will, i fear, be our achiles heel this season and possibly stop us from claiming a Euro spot/Top 6 spot.
Clark - only 1 premiership goal in 12.
Appere - only ever scored 1 Premiership goal and looking like he's struggling at this level
McNulty - long term injured and hadn't scored this season beforehand
Biamou - Barely featured
I sound like a broken record but we must rectify this situation in January.
Wouldn't be against sending Appere out on loan in January and bringing in a big, physical forward who can head the ball and finish.

Wrang starting selection 1st half. Louis and Chalmers were struggling.
We were flat for the majority oe the 1st half. Oor pace was slow and there was a lotta hesitancy in pushing forward fae the players which helped the Johnnies.
Ane or the things Eh noticed the day, was the players seemed to be aware oe their teammates roondaboot them, for the likes oe passing the ba, but were unaware oe their other teammates further awa and so a lot oe what coulda been good opportunities were overlooked.
Half-time he brings on the heavy mob. Pawlett and the mighty Finn. And then we were the better team in the 2nd half. Freeman coming on also made a difference. We musta ended up we twa or three times the attempts they had, and double the coarners.
Ye could say oor finishing coulda been better, but in the end Zander Clark saved them the day.
Got phuck all fae the Ref.
MOTM for me. Niskanen, even tho he was only on fir half the gehm.

1st half - pish
2nd half, much better and we should have at least got a point.
Kerr’s a great prospect but never a full back in a million years.
What’s up with no bringing Max on? Surely he needs time on the pitch to get fit?

Tam fckd up. Simple as.
He will learn.

St Johnstone scored when they were on top but after that I thought Utd were the better team especially 2nd Half. Chalmers and Appere would do well to to atleast match the work effort of Niskanen.

Tbf we really coulda won that game twice over
Zander Clarke was absolutely brilliant

Not that simple AU, it was worth a try & it was rectified at half time.
He did not **** up & yes he will learn.
Every day's a school day for all of us really.

Sorry mate but he did fuck up. I'm one of Tams biggest fans but he most certainly got that horribly wrong yesterday. Always play your strongest team, resting players because they've played one midweek game in a month is totally unnecessary. If they were injured then fair enough but they clearly weren't. He tinkered and got it wrong, we move on but he gets the blame for yesterday as far as I'm concerned.

What yesterday did was cast severe doubts on whether Apperre or Chalmers will ever be first team regulars.
I doubt either of them will be any where near the starting 11 next week or any time in the forseeable future

Agree'd I think he might keep Appere as an impact sub if max still not upto speed

Only saw highlights - looks like we had enough chances to win 3 or 4 games which is a big difference from last season. Scoring them however remains a concern. We won't face a keeper as good as Clark every week though. Also the goal we lost was from an uncharacteristic error from Fuchs - that won't happen every week either.
I'd agree that TC got it wrong on team selection. I'd have given both Pawlett and Niskanen time off the pitch but would have started one of them. Kerr Smith starting was bizarre. He's no right back.
