Is Butcher even fit? Hopefully so, and I'd probably agree with that team myself.
Would be good to see Chalmers back, second half cameo hopefully.

Unable to accommodate us due to Covid.
P1sh. Tons oe empty saets.

Half-time 1-1. Tak that.
But also woulda ta'en a goal fae the Penalty that we were'na awarded when Clark was shoved doon in the box.

Excellent point for UTD.
We looked like a well motivated and organised side.
keep it going TC and the Terrors.

Great point today. MOTM the crossbar. (stolen from elsewhere)

It shows 1 thing. That we can defend when we have to.
The greedy b@stard in me says we shoulda won the gehm. There was a couple of opportunities near the end whar we were a man up at the half-weh line and shoulda just went for it, and whar we kinda p1ssed aboot on the edge of their box, lost the ba, instead oe hae'in a boot.
Putting that doon the shitey tho. A brilliant point at Parkdaed. Over the phuckin moon, considering what a lot oe us thought what could happen.
Well done TC. 1 point fae the mings, and 3 fae the mongs.
MOTM for me Fuchs. ( 2nd place goes to Benji and the bar ).

Happy enough with that, there were opportunities for us too take more from the game but then they did hit the bar 3 times in the last 15 minutes.
Have to say some of the decisions not to give us some free kicks late in the game just show how the cliché of never getting a decision in Glasgow became a cliché

How it wisnae a pen - ahm bewildered.
Given that it shoulae been a pen - Celtic man shouldae been off.
Sublime performance, stuff you train for - triangles, triangles, triangles - simple, but in a real match situation so hard to do.
Compusure and no respect for Celtic. Great blend and balance to team.
The young heids out there ... wow, Kerr Smith 16 !!!
Here was me thinking we'd struggle without Mulgrew.
+ Add TC to young heids.
Levitt total class.
Fuchs - couldae gone to extra time, he'd still be running and this hes third game in a week.
Harkes getting concrete in team, adding competitive edge to the technical ability he's always had in abundance.
Pawlett another good game, another name for starting X1.
Clark for hes hold up play.
Excellent point. 4 ponts fae 6 against uglies and 5th in table. Great.
... and Logan Chalmers to come back.
... footnote - Celts going round stadium clapping empty stands

Expected little from yesterday afternoon's match at Parkhead, so have to say i am absolutely satisfied and impressed with our performance and result given the many variants that we had to contend with (no Mulgrew, no Liam Smith, no Butcher, no McNulty etc). No Utd fans in attendance, playing against a partisan support and huge refereeing decisions going against us.
To get a positive result in Glasgow against one of the top two you often need both a slice of luck and also every single player to give a good performance and yesterday we had both. There were no failures in our side and also a few very good performances (Levitt, Harkes, Fuchs).
What delighted me most is that we actually played good football, kept possession well, had good passing, hunted in packs, showed confidence and pace and gave Celtic a game. It's years since we have done that at Parkhead to such an extent. And i mean years.
The penalty we were denied an utter disgrace. Sadly, we are almost getting used to it now. It's almost every week. If we had been given that decision, scored the subsequent penalty and were 2-1 up against a 10 man Celtic then we would have been in a very strong position in the match to push on and get the win. These moments in the game are huge and i am pig sick of them going against us. I'd like the Manager to speak out more strongly regards this. Because i truly feel Utd are becoming an easy touch in regards referee's fucking us over.
I have to say the midfield were superb today. Not just in their pressing but in their possession and passing. Levitt, Harkes, Pawlett and Fuchs all so composed and confident with the ball at their feet and under pressure. A wee word too for Ilmari Niskanen. Been a tough start for him given his lack of match fitness and trying to find his feet in a new country and adapt to the speed of our football in Scotland. Today he never seen much of the ball, but when he did have it he looked dangerous and looked like he could impact our play for the better. Looking forward to him getting fully fit and with more games in this team, to see what he can bring us.
For the second week in a row we had the sink thrown at us in the final 10 minutes, but for the second Sunday in a row we held firm (albeit with a slice of luck today, courtesy of our crossbar). We definitely have a resilience about us now and a desire within the 11 players to achieve that draw/win.
To that Utd chance at the death. Fuck me!
Me and my 12 year old were off the couch and i thought that was gonna be the big moment we would finally register our first win there since i was (ironically) also 12 years old. Alas, big Louis sadly overthought the moment instead of just lashing it on his weaker foot. A shame and quite gutting but i thought he made a good cameo otherwise (as did Adrian Sporle). Both attempted to get forward and carry the ball upfield even without support. Good to see, i like that type of bravery.
Wee word for Kieran Freeman and Scott McMann. We look stronger at Full Back now. McMann strong in the tackle and Freeman looking to get up the park, carry the ball and get it in the box. A much better shape to the team now Freeman is in the side imo.
I must commend Kerr Smith also. 16 year old and playing in such a good Utd performance in Glasgow is a great testament to the young man.
Just a great pity we never signed a Striker last window as i honestly felt we would have won that today if we had a goal scorer in the side or anyone to get on the end of balls in the box. But i don't want to sound like a broken record.
Well done to the players and TC.
First point registered at Celtic Park in almost 8 years (2nd November 2013.) The day we should have won and Brian Graham missed an open goal. Ironically Charlie Mulgrew scored the last minute equaliser for Celtic that day. So with that context in mind we have to be satisfied.
Play that way in Glasgow going forward and none of us will have much cause to complain win ,lose or draw.

terrific, brave performance... Freeman and K Smith in a back 4 (and Edwards playing wrong side) at Celtic Park is certainly a change from how we would have set up in the past with the available players. MOM - TC for having the baws to give that a go.
on the pitch... running out of superlatives for Fuchs - still only 23... don't see why he couldn't play EPL. Levitt - his quality of passing was clear from the first time you saw him, but now also starting to add a bit of dig! fast erasing memories of Bolton in terms of passive loanees and sky's the limit if he continues to kick on.
in the aberdeen post match i remember TC said that he could see he was pleased some of the things he'd been working on in terms of system had come off... i couldn't see it at all from that game, but to be fair to him you can certainly see a lot of influence from training coming through in games now... the triangles, the full backs' positioning. potentially we're just a striker away from a really exciting team... who'd have thought that a couple of months ago.

Also I'm delighted to see TC highlight the 3 shocking decisions that have went against us in the last 2 games.....negligible to the point of cheating....

Freeman and McMann had a torrid time of it defending yesterday but the good thing is they won’t come up against that quality of opposition most weeks.
Also a great post by Tek.
Online!
I thought we should have brought on Chalmers for the last 20 minutes or so, he gets us up the pitch by running with the ball and Clark was spent after the hour mark.

Louis I like him, great application, for me beginning to be a worry.
Beat 2 or 3 at the end there. Then like CA says grew a tractor tyre.
Or corner flag an option.
Was hoping for more, can he make it in Premier League ?
Sporle - naebidy kens whit hes going to do - least of all him.
Armstrong if fit shouldae been on, if no fit shouldnae be on bench.
I'll no say much for the hoopy men, but they're no as brutal as a lot he'll face, so yeah good opportunity, no sure why Tam's holding him back ?
But who am I, Tam's doing a great job, shame about Clancy's myopia.
Bottom line, great performance.
