Has left Utd seemingly.
Rumour is that he was told he wasn't going to play in the team moving forward and some sort of pay-off settlement has been reached.

Won't have been a cheap pay-off though.
He still had 2 years of his contract left.
Anyway good luck to the guy and as you say he was part of the team that got us out of the Championship.

Good luck to him but what a costly pay off that’ll probably be. Serious error handing him that contract.

Not the worst we have had but as we all know we are overloaded with guys in his position.
Good luck to him for the rest of his career gave 100%.

Agreed, always gave everything for the badge. Not the best we've had, not the worst either. Hope he can put his injuries behind him and find a club and go on to have a successful and injury free career.
Thanks for your efforts Mark 👍

Good luck to him if that is the case, have some respect for a guy who wants to play rather than sit on the bench taking the money.
In terms of ability i think we have better and enough depth to cover his departure. I have to say the screaming at his team mates for mistakes when he made as many as most of them my have been something that did not go down well.
Has a whiff of Dunfermline signing him if you ask me.

Wouldn't be surprised if them across the road have a look.
Hes certainly better than their number 4 that came on as a sub on Sunday. He's still looking for Ian Harkes from that wee cheeky Meg.

If true, he will be remembered as a player who gave all he had for the club, unfortunately on too many occasions his all was not really good enough.
Will help clear a space for the January window.
Offline
Would be one hell of a pay off when the club are pretty skint.
Offline
Big improvement when you came in mate.
Best of luck wherever you end up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he'd be able to sign for anyone until January, so strange if true. Surely he'd want to be training and keeping fit, and Courts would have him an option, until he can join someone else?
Has this been confirmed anywhere or is it just a rumour?

Why has this departure not been announced by the club?

Probably not announcing it until his pay-off is agreed.

Dunfermline on loan until jan

Yep that makes much more sense, can't see how a pay off would have benefited either party.

Agreed - seems sensible for all parties. Get's him playing games and he can come back when we sell Edwards and Smith in the next window.

Good luck to him. Always gave his all and will also be around to support Ross graham in his loan spell.
I hope he gets the football he needs

Would seem pay-off couldn't be reached.
A suitable compromise. Also means we can bring him back soon should we suffer an injury crisis at the back.
Straight in tonight maybe v the Rovers? A Graham & Connolly pairing?
Offline
Doubtful. Graham was dropped about 3 games ago and Grant said he needed to focus on defending more in games. Pars fans don't rate him.

Think this is his level. He flogged the raith goal

Two United CH's there now on loan.
No harm to either lad, but would truly be delighted to see them relegated. Disliked them since the 95/96 season when their club and support suddenly and weirdly regarded our club as Enemy No.1.
