It might be better the devil you know though. Scores goals in England and Scotland, had a Scotland call-up and we know what type of person and trainer he is etc. That’s a lot less riskier option than someone from Finnish football who’s never been to Scotland. It doesn’t mean the network is not working. Obviously the flip side is everyone wants to discover the new Ciftci or Olofsson

Could it even be Ciftci?

I’d have a Jamie Walker or Matty Kennedy in there.

Maybe we have players lined up and better to parade them after getting horsed by The Rangers than before? A little lift after a real downer? I'm clutching at straws, but maybe we will be pleasantly surprised?

Yeah maybe Tony knows the knives will be out after a thumping from Rangers so use the new players as a way to smooth the road.

Pleased with that but assume we’ll be changing formation from 3-5-2

Robson must be off if we are tracking McMann. Begs the question who this Finnish boy is going to be crossing the ball too...?

Well I doubt he'd be crossing it to Robson anyway

Hopefully come September he's putting the ball on Lawrence's napper 👍

Scott McMann?
What a strange player to bid for. Surely there are better left backs out there for nothing.

A left winger at last.
No idea if the boy will be any good (none of us do).
But fingers crossed he's one of our better Scandinavians.

Just seen this regards Niskanen.
'He will have to isolate then wait for a visa application with the Home Office before being granted a registration to play, but once the legal formalities are completed he'll join Courts' squad.'
FFS knowing our luck we'll no see him till Xmas 😣

Germany is on the green list, why would he have to isolate?

Apparently Hibs and St Johnstone both interested in him too so maybe better than you think?

I've never particularly rated him. Not terrible or anything.
I'd put him on a par with Robson.
There is better out there. For free.

Fair enough, can't say I've ever paid him any attention tbh. Maybe him being on a par with Robson but not actually being Robson will be enough to appease some folk though 😉
