Offered a “better job elsewhere”. I personally couldn’t give a flying ferk to be honest. If Tam wants his own team in then so be it. I’m more interested to see Shanks playing with a smile on his face and the young full backs bombing forward.

He has been punted mate. If Courts prefers Tony Caig, that's fine. He's the Manager now. He has to live or die by his decisions (assuming it is his decision).
But SmedDum now saying he's supposedly a shite coach is fucking ridiculous and frankly laughable coming from that poster. Sorry, but it is.
Everything is tangerine tinted until the day they leave.
Siegrist himself sings his praises. I'm sure Mehmet did too previously.
Read the lines mate, it's not that difficult.
SmedDUm was told by a close staff member two years ago that in his opinion TA wasn't the best gk coach the Club ever had.
Simply that, not that he was 'shite'.
Why is that 'fucking ridiculous' and 'laughable', I'm not getting you?
BS & DM praising him is only natural.

TBF to smeds Tek, I know someone who works for the Club too, as do a few others on the forum. I only see / speak to this individual from time to time, not a lot in past 15 month I admit, but he does on occasion pass on info.

Intrigued to see who gets all the exclusives.....
Mock chop got the one the other day and snacks was first to say Tony caig (far too random a name to pull out of thing air).
So who's leaking to who....I'd imagine there's only a certain amount of folk who would be privy to the new man in the club

Good question mate. Being in NZ I miss out on all this sort of shit. I reckon they're about 55% true (except Daily Record.)

Officially away. Caig was GK at the last 2 games so expect him to be announced today.

Presumably another pay-off given the time to agree it from when first heard. We're some club.

All Utd have done recently is preach CONTINUITY.
Giving Courts the Manager's job CONTINUITY.
Giving Adam Asghar a 1st team coaches role CONTINUITY.
Making zero signings and just loading the team with kids CONTINUITY.
Yet, we pay off a respected coach. Pretty much the only person left at the club who has been here pre-Asghar.
Almost like the words coming from within the club are bullshit, isn't it?

TA wants rid of anyone who won't say 'yes, Mr Ashgar' to him. How dare anyone criticise the masterplan. I'm assuming that he'd be telling fans that don't support his masterplan not to turn up too - although I'm not sure he'll need to ask...

You hate TA so much mate. Now I'm 50/50 with him. But one thing that cant be argued is that since he has come in the club has improved from where we were.
My question to you is what is it he has done that has had such a negative impact on the club that has led you to this level of hatred?
Is it that he hired a manager you didnt want? If thats the case, fair enough but surely you give that manager time to see how he does, then jump on the TA bandwagon?
I just dont see where your clear hatred of him is based. The whole 'yes man' thing, I don't get it. Courts was hired as someone who understands the direction the clubs wants to go in and will embrace the culture they are trying to create. Now that might go well or it might go badly. I just dont think you have a valid reason to hate the guy this much at this stage. Its actually quite impressive how much you hate him.

Diving in at the deep end with the word hatred are we not? I don't like the way he operates and I don't think he is good for our club. Granted he bought Shankland and that got us promoted. He then lucks out with a manager that keeps us in the division with pretty much the same team (that he then punts in less than a year) for a guy who was already at the club when he was getting punters to believe that Steve McLaren was coming to Tannadice.
I don't blame him for appointing Courts - it is pretty clear that he is all we can afford - but to try to sell that as some sort of piece of the masterplan is simply bullsh8. I believe this man has the potential to singlehandedly bring about the end of the club I love if he does that I will hate him, I won't be the only one. Those who fiddled whilst Rome burned will of course still love him.
If we are relegated this season then I think that will be us. Great time for us all to be following a TA inspired flight of fancy.

So pretty much all based on what might happen, whilst putting down to pure luck what has actually happened, convenient much?
The bare facts are that we are in a much better position now than before the Ogrens took over and Tony Asghar began his role yes or no?

With the investment Mr Ogren has put in, where we are now is the absolute minimum of where we should be. The fact that we are not in a better position with a better squad and a decent manager is all down to TA. He now has us sitting on a precipice. If his masterplan doesn't produce a good team on the pitch and a conveyor belt of sellable talent we are totally fu6ked. What ever way you look at it we were not nearing the point of no return before Mr Ogren came along as we were still a saleable asset. We are not now. We are sitting at the roulette table with all our chips on the Ashgar masterplan. I hope he is a much maligned genius and that I can kick myself later for being a non-believer, but he isn't and I won't.

We rejected 350k for him. So we cant 'need' to sell him.

I mean fair enough, that is your opinion but man it is so extreme. I'm not going to try and change your mind but "single-handedly bring about the end of the club" and Rome burning really are drastic things to say in our current situation. Which if I have understood your thoughts correctly is that you dont like the manager he (along with the rest of the board btw) has brought in?
I want signings and I want them soon. We NEED them, drastically. But if we dont get them I think we still have enough to get us by. Having said that, the window closes on the 31st August. It is a long time away. I would rather have boys in the door now, but if it takes time and we end up with the RIGHT ones, then I'm fine with it.

I've got nothing against Courts. Not his fault he's been offered the job. I'd have taken it if I were him too. As is obvious its the Director of Everything I have issue with.
I genuinely do think we are in a position whereby if we are relegated we are pretty much finished. If that comes to pass then big Tone will be the man to blame.
