Benji

Broken wrist.

Absolutely terrible news for the big man and us as a club.

Re: Benji

Shyte news—he definitely shut my pus with his performances this season. Buuuuut did our first choice keeper Alan Main no get injured then his stand in turned out to be a cup hero in 94? Or was Guido first choice that year? Canna mind.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Re: Benji

Brutal news.

JapanArab - Alan Main was first choice and then got injured, Guido took over for second half of the season.

Re: Benji

Bad news. He has been our best and most consistent player this season. Hopefully a quick recovery and we see him back in a United shirt next season.

Re: Benji

Still our player of the year, no matter what happens in our remaining games. Hopefully not the last we have seen of him... but I fear it might be.

If Luke Bolton comes on in the 90th minute of the cup final (should we make it that is) and scores a scabby winner with his right arse cheek, he will be my player of the season 😋

Not to undervalue Benji's huge contribution of course. Get well soon big man and sincerely hope we see you in a united shirt again 👍

Re: Benji

I fear we've seen the last on benji. It's maybe pie in the sky but I wonder if a 1 year extension would help benji and ourselves. Would other teams want to sign a keeper with a paper wrist? Maybe... another year at us could show he's fully recovered and read to play. He's not old for a keeper so maybe no rush to get a big paycheck. (Ps don't blame him for wanting to progress his career - would just love to see him here for longer)

Re: Benji

With a year left on his deal we should be trying to get him tied up on a 1 year extension at least. Especially now that he has an injury may work in our favour at the minute.

Re: Benji

Bowers, basing my opinion on the reports at Christmas linking him to the bundesliga... and sure a few folk on here mentioned he wouldn't sign a new deal.... hope so tho
