English clubs have very little reliance on gate receipts though. It's mostly tv money so for them little has changed. Understand what you are saying though.

I'd be all for it as I've given up watching The English Premiership as when a football team spends more on its defence than many countries do something needs to change. The fact that these teams are millions in debt and are still allowed to sign players even though we now have the financial fair play rules is wrong. All the so called progress with VAR etc just seems to make the game less appealing.
