Its not about that. It just (to me) feels like an absolute tinpot attitude if I'm honest. Mentioned it before that the right player can make an average team a very good team and used Billy Dodds as an example.

Saying that you feel sorry for him just doesnt sit right with me. The lad makes anywhere between 10-15 grand a month. I'm sure he's fine.

Clarke calling up two new Strikers in Che Adams and Kevin Nisbet (the latter barely been playing for Hibs post-Xmas). And sticking by the no scoring McBurnie 😣

Not looking good for Shankland at all regards the Euros, sady.

Hopefully he has a point to prove to Clarke now though and starts scoring with regularity from now till the season's end.

Starting on Saturday.

I thought we had stopped picking people who are not Scottish to play for Scotland.
What's the point in national football if you put foreigners in your team.
Will the first time Adams sets foot in Scotland be him running out at Hampden with a Scotland shirt on.
Christ he's played for England U/20s. Then decided he probably won't make the full team so plays for Scotland ,GTF.
What little interest I had left for international football fades even more with shite like this.

Plus the fact he literally turned Scotland down 3 years ago.

It really doesn't sit well with me. Playing International Football shouldn't be like deciding what club you want to sign for.

I can forgive the Che Adams inclusion if he was replacing McBurnie. But to bomb out Shanks (and Callum Paterson for that matter) is a fucking joke for me. Grant Hanley and John Fleck in the squad? Deary me.

For what it's worth I'm not a huge fan of McBurnie, but i never mentioned his name in my post, i was alluding to Shanklands form in the premier league....
