Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

Need a big reaction to Wednesday nights horror show at home to St Mirren. Will we see it? i doubt it sadly.
Doesnt seem to be any word on Fuchs is there?
Changes need made. Hopefully Benji is back. Sporle for Robson? Or play Sporle left wing? Harkes drops out for me.
Edwards back in alongside Reynolds also.

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

Robson needs dropped, imagine we’ll be back to 5 at the back.

Need Fuchs back as the midfield is brutal.  I think we have good forwards but they’re not showing it, McNulty is wasted on the wing and Clark is far too deep.

Can’t see anything but a comfortable hibs win

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

Massive changes for me needed, butcher must be back for weekend, he not been close last few weeks?? fuchs was he not meant to be back last night??

Benji
Smith Connolly Edwards Reynolds sporle
Butcher fuchs
Mochrie Clark
Shankland

If butcher and fuchs aren’t back I’ve honestly no idea, would think powers will stay in

Robson has to be dropped gave the ball away 26 times last night, more than Reynolds and Connolly combined also his overall play was embarrassing to quite honest and has been for a good few months

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

I've tried to be as positive as I can this season, but that game really took the wind out of my sails. Drop any cunt for me, play anyone in their place, we won't see the reaction we are looking for I'm sure. Dunno why but this whole squad seems gutless and incapable of raising their game.

This.

I'D have Powers for Reynolds who does absolutely zip other than wear armband.
Cannae see why this makes position in starting X1 concrete.
Allright the boy shouldae been gone for simulation but schoolboy error to gie'm the chance.
Worst offender for aimless boots up  park.

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

I'd play Butcher at CH. Alongside Connolly.

Fuchs in for Harkes. Keep Powers in the team for now.

Siegrest back in for Mehmet (if he is still here).

.........................Siegrest..............
........Connolly...Butcher...Edwards.......
Smith..........................................Sporle
..........Fuchs....Powers....Mochrie..
...................Clark..Shankland.....

Subs - Mehmet, Reynolds, Bolton, Fotheringham
McNulty, Appere, Harkes, Neilson, Hoti

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

You see when Shankland comes back to do his own fetching, do you not  think he puts both sets of midfielders to shame? His body shape, his fast feet, his coming away with the ball that wasn't his? Play Clark & McNulty up front with Shankland the creative/ball winning No 10 behind them?

Birmingham City have bid 2M for Kevin Nisbet.

Millwall 1M for Ryan Porteous (wow).

Yes to the first bit.

Put defenders to shame as well.

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

After Wednesday, Robson, Reynolds& Clark Need a rest.
Sporle, Edwards & Mochrie to replace them.

If fringe players don't get a chance after that shambles they never will.

I agree especially Robson and he should have been taken off early 2nd half Wednesday night. Cant see him dropping him and Reynolds for this

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

Up to now, we're playing better than we played midweek, against a better side IMO. Amazing how cheenging twa outfield players can influence the play.

We're dae'in well in the midfield, but we're no creating much in the Hibs box.

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

I just wish, for a "championship side who are learning" they'd learn that they need to fight to be up in this league.
How can any of them expect to be up here next season if they don't try to actually attack and score goals?
Infuriated is an understatement.

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

I've got to say, the more I listen to him on the commentary, the more I think Sean Dillon is subtlety putting his hat in the ring for the job in future...

Anyway, back to the game.

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

Just feel totally deflated with us at present and I can’t see a way out, we can’t keep clean sheets and struggle to score goals.

Everything that we do just looks like a lot of effort compared to their goals today, the second one just summed it up. Butch her diving in and Reynolds standing like a subbuteo player, it’s just far too easy and sadly far too predictable.

So many are out of form and the heads look down, will a change in manager make a difference? I’m not sure but it certainly can’t make it any worse.

Two away games and we need to win one of them but with our goal scoring record what chance do we have.

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

If we don't strengthen in this window we are slipping right down this division. If ogren doesn't want to invest any of the loan money in the squad and we go back down, he's going to wish he fucking had. The consequences of us going down would be catastrophic for us and his return on his investment will be fuck all.

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

Dinna think we deserved to lose the day but for this. Our play in and around the Hibs box was too hesitant. Our crosses into the box were'na good enough overall. Our finishing is not near what it needs to be. All of which mean we're no scoring enough.

No that it metters that much but MOTM for me was Fuchs. He's a right hard chunt.

But sitting below the thug's Midden, and 8 points below Livi is phucking p1sh.

BTW I didna ken if Specsavers is closed due to the Lockdoon, coz that chunt oe a lino needs to get doon there pronto.

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

That was a good bit better today, an easier watch, much to be positive about.
We're due some luck with penalty awards, compare Doig today with Shankland on Wednesday.

Mind you, Shankland v the Sheep at Tannadice....

It clearly could make it worse. It's Definately not good at the moment but ive seen worse UTD teams than this

Re: Dundee Utd v Hibs 30/01/21

Hand ball was worst since Thierry Henri v Ireland.

See in Ozzy (Rugby) League
Head of Referees Panel watches every game and if there's a fuck-up like this one he'll come out and apologise.

Personally I'd be happy with shooting the bastard and Specsavers withdrawing sponsorship
