Dundee Utd v St Mirren 27/01/21

Back to it Wednesday night against St Mirren. 3 points are much needed imo. Cant be fucked with this 5 at the back and not attacking just please try and get the win.

McNulty back in the starting 11 for me, Hopefully see Fuchs/Chalmers on the bench?

Re: Dundee Utd v St Mirren 27/01/21

It would be good to see a fully fit full strength team out on the park as I'm struggling to think of a time we have been able to field one this season. It would be interesting to see what formation he would go with but for me I think we have been better when we've played 4 at the back.

Re: Dundee Utd v St Mirren 27/01/21

I think we’ll see a starting back 5 and then the usual CB off and winger on to make more of a 4-4-2. Plan being to capitalise on their defeat on Sunday which might have taken a lot out of them mentally and physically.

Feels difficult to pick the team for this one. If anyone can guess then fair play. No idea about Fuchs, Chalmers, Butcher and Micky didnt give much away in his presser.

I'll take a stab in the dark:

Benji
Neilson Connolly Reynolds
Smith Powers Clark Robson
McNulty Shanks Appere

Normally find the questions from 24/7 Scotland to be a bit bland and generic.

But, fairplay, these are good, probing questions this week.

Re: Dundee Utd v St Mirren 27/01/21

first question, last 7 games 1 loss, last 7 games 1 win - which do you look at?
answer - we've got 16 'results' & if he said that once he said it 10 times, a 'result' being anything other than a loss
I like him a lot & it was good to see him so cheery but it was 22 mins of my life wasted to be honest!

Re: Dundee Utd v St Mirren 27/01/21

Disgraceful first half, not help by a dubious penalty decision at either end. Game's gone but f***ing better show something 2nd half

Re: Dundee Utd v St Mirren 27/01/21

Not good enough, no where fucking near good enough. Players and coaching staff need to take a fucking long hard look at themselves, then ask themselves if 20% was a big enough fucking wage cut!

Re: Dundee Utd v St Mirren 27/01/21

Not been this disappointed in a performance in a long time. Dont know why I was expecting a good performance and victory tonight as we haven't had one this season. I would only give Connoly pass marks and would rather see the returned loaned out players get a game as this lot have had numerous chances and failed to deliver.
