Possibly, won't make any difference though sadly.

Does sound that way.
Maybe self-isolation was only 10 days.

IF we have players back I’d go with
Benji
Smith Edwards Connolly robson
Butcher
Bolton fuchs harkes sporle
Shankland
451 defending 433 attack simples 3-0 united 😁

I must say we have played a lot better than I expected. Fresh air from Shanks when he should score and Reynolds shot could have gone anywhere. Great finish by Smith but two sloppy free kicks and two good finishes from Sevco have done us. As usual with a 2-1 scoreline, next goal is crucial. We are still in this game.

Morelos yellow....🤣 im not even surorised

A lot better than i expected. Thought we would get scudded, but the fact the Rangers players were time wasting at the end tells it's own story.
Lads gave everything and that is all you can ever really ask.
Not his biggest fan but i thought Mark Connolly was very good today.

I read a lot of our players getting powered week in week out. Harkes the main offender (and with some merit).
But Shankland seems to be exempt from analysis let alone criticism. Let's be honest he is offering very little currently.
And i know there is not much service to him, but even his general play has been poor. He isn't winning headers, 50/50s or getting on the ball anywhere near enough. Even when the ball is up near the opposition box.

Can’t fault anyone’s effort today. Thought Fuchs was good today and didn’t miss Butcher but still need a bit more from central midfield.

Biggest frustration again is use of the ball. No problem with getting pressed into mistakes by fast, fit opposition but the amount of unforced errors just puts us under even more pressure than we already were.
The game largely suited our strengths but still needed to work hard.
The bench we had available also makes it very difficult. Was that a reward for Watson and his development or a sly dig at Appere?

Unless Watson has been showing up really well in training and youth/reserve fixtures it did seem like a bit of a slap in the face to Appere who was the obvious sub for Sporle. Would have had Powers on to try and keep the ball for more than 5 seconds in the second half.

Agree 100% re shankland. I dont think the team is set up to get the best out of him. However, someone like Safranko would be much better suited to this United side.
Fwiw I thought he was a bit better on the deck today. But should have taken his one chance.

Development fees for playing academy graduates for the first time?

We absolutely need someone like Safranko in this side. Don't know how we'd fit Mcnulty, Shanks and Safranko in a lineup but if we're not going to sign a creative midfielder and insist on playing longballs the need to sign a target man is unprecedented.
We either sign some creative players in January when we're skint, or face a very real threat that relegation will leave us more skint.

We could have atleast made an attempt to score a goal even from 80 mins onwards... Brutal!

Proud of the players today, massively uneven playing squads but competed for everything and we could have scored first with a touch of luck. Certainly not the doing I was expecting. Not one to celebrate defeat, but happy the players gave their all 👏👏

Thats the problem playing against a team miles ahead of you in quality. You need to work extra hard to create chances. We did well to create in the first half. We did try towards the end, but The Rangers had complete control over the game at that stage.

Eh was seek when Smith hoofed the ba toward the open goal, when McGregor was awa toward the 18 yard line, and he was aff target. But he made up for it we a crackin finish for the equaliser shortly efter.
We had a near disaster when Benji was aff his line tae way to the left oe the box. Thank phuck for that clearance by Conolly.
We played mighty better the day than we did last week?? I was expecting us to get horsed the day, so on that note, no that seek. But disappointed we got phuck all the day. There was periods the day when we played some really neat stuff, and the last 10 mins, Eh thought we were gpnna grab a goal and get a point.
Once again, Shanks no getting enough oe the ba in the box, and no enough service.
However, we ken wha were playing the day, and whar they are in the League. Nae mair credit needed to be going to that shower.
And that wee sh1te Freddo shoulda been aff for the deliberate elbow in the pus. Dirty b@stard.
I'd call that progress today.
Next Saturday is a bit of a free hit at Easter Road & then we've Killie & M'well both at home either side of Xmas.
If we play like today & attack a bit more I think we could get 6 home points.
Should take a bit of confidence from today's game.
This difficult spell might just be the turning point of our season

Win our next 3 home games (Killie, Well, Farmers) and the away games dont matter. Lose a home game and we need to pick up points away to Hibs, Celtic or Sheep.

We definitely had opportunities to score more than the one that's for sure. Playing against 10 men might have levelled the playing field a bit for us too, but we all know decisions like that never go our way against these cunts.

Thought the ref did ok to be honest, he may have missed it altogether.
But the media are right down on Morelos and if they said it should have been a red once they said it a dozen times, they all had a go at him. Except Gerrard who swiped the question.

Brutal again it was always going to be a hard one for us today and so it proved.
Some back to wall stuff at times in the second half, giving away some frustrating fouls in dangerous areas in the first ultimately was our downfall but where was the marking at their 2nd?
Midfield are a real concern although we all know that by now, you would have heard any centre mid worth their salt going ape shit at our defence as they fire 50 yard balls over their heads. There is no desire to get the ball and change the game, they seem quiet and content almost hiding when we have the ball although they do work hard when we are not in possession.
Once again we created next to nothing,a half chance if it even was that Which Smith took very well and Shankland missed a decent chance.
Looking forward it’s clear we need new blood and preferably we get them in on the 1st of Jan and not the 31st, clearly a playmaker and some width are required and you would like to think that Tony Ashgar has got some of his contacts looking for us although going by past history I’m not getting my hopes up.
I hate getting beat of them cunts and that ref argh.
Merry fuckin Christmas

Ridiculous post
New blood in January , currently a massive cost cutting exercise . To quote could get messy.
But yeah we better fucking splash out in January.
