We need to fight back against all this we know best double standard shite. I witnessed 100+ young adults packed together sharing food watching a film for about 1hr yesterday. Then the restrictions are relaxed for Xmas it massive double standards.
The SGs attitude towards the NATIONAL sport stinks, English supporters (untested)are back in grounds, here in Scotland its players ((regularly tested) can't stand beside each other.

We can blame the media, blame the government, blame the Queen Mother if we want.

United signed up for the protocols, United broke the protocols, United currently have a Covid outbreak. It's as simple as that.

 
It's the protocols that need questioned.
It's a big no no to stand beside other people in your bubble for 5mins.
However it's ok to get pished and do the conga.
Too many people just willing to accept these arbitrary rules. Or pack 30 young adults in a classroom for 90m.
Just because the SG say that's the rules dosent mean they are correct.
When this is all over(phrase of the year) we will look back and wonder why we were all scared into submission.

Sportsound mentioning fact that Celtic (and possibly others) have done the same, so we might get a fine but we won’t get a points deduction as there’s no way they’re going to do that to Celtic.

How could they possibly issue a points deduction anyway? We are playing the game with all players selected being free to play. An absolute nonsense that they can play, train and fuckin eat together but can't stand next to each other for a minute.

I agree though, now that Celtic are mentioned it'll die down soon enough.

 
They train together in smaller bubbles, but they don't eat together, and the non-playing staff have to maintain physical distancing at all times. They do play together, but that doesn't include the coaching staff of course.

Whether we like the rules not, the photo was a large scale breach of what was agreed.

I agree there is no prospect of a points deduction.

A few posters have hung Leitch out to dry, but if he was asked his opinion by a journalist what else could he say? He has to he seen to be consistent at all times. If someone had asked him about the Celtic photo (I'm assuming no-one did) he would have had to say something similar.

Did anyone listen to Sportsound today?

If so, what were they saying about it? Ripping into the club or holding back in light of Celtic doing the same?

All went very quiet this week regards everything covid related surrounding the club. Hasn't it?

As the SPFL haven't cited us or indeed even commented on our club photo shoot i am guessing they either.

2) Had no rules or protocols communicated to the club saying such an incident was prohibited this season

Either way, it looks like we thankfully might have gotten away without punishment (fingers crossed).

All very quiet also regards our situation with the coaching staff and players isolating. They have now reached or even surpassed the incubation period. A simple test tomorrow would say surely clear them for the weekend?

Aberdeen F.C's Statement they releassed a few hours ago regards letting fans back into stadia was brilliant.

The other clubs should be rallying around it/them.
 

 
Spot on Tek it was a great statement. Cormack and the much maligned Doncaster are the only two I've heard challenging the SGs we are always right attitude.
I fear we are slipping into a one party state where no off message talk is acceptable.

Still waiting to hear how indoor cinemas are allowed in tier 2 but attending football outside isn't. If you don't answer these simple questions, people fill the vacuum with there own answers.

And unfortunately, as much as the line around 'football being given special privileges' is banded about, it very much looks like football fans are given the opposite treatment, again. ​Say what the concerns are and let clubs and supporters mitigate them.

​Very difficult topic and they don't make decisions that affect mortality rates just through the prism of football fans. However, it hasn't been handled well in my view.
