McNulty did well at both goals, but generally that was a hard, hard watch. Think a decent side may have murdered us today, and couldn't understand starting the three central defenders which cost us in the middle of the park. None of the three can pass the ball well under pressure (and often under no pressure) and surely against poorer sides we should have a more positive midfielder on the pitch.
Happy with three points though.

Well, it's a win and 3 points. So, i'm happy with that.
Tough period of games starting in a fortnight though.

Good character shown to come back late in the game. Hamilton are a dirty bastard horrible side and hopefully this season will be their last at this level for a good while. They can take their shitey pitch and entertain the fun on it next season. I said I'd take any kind of win and am delighted with the 3 points. Not a fantastic performance but a great result. Hearts and the fun made it a carlesberg weekend 👏👏🍻

Better when we went 4 at the back but midfield still not creating anything.
Happy with the 3 points

Agree with that, need to go 4-4-2 in these games
McNulty did well today, think once he gets a goal he’ll get better and better
Our centre halves are all decent in the air and will throw themselves in front of shots but they’re all very poor on the ball.
Fuchs looked poor for first 20 minutes then came into it and showed in flashes what a good player he can be. Think he’ll take another few games to get up to speed and used to the game here but could definitely turn out to be a very decent player at this level.

Our games between now and Xmas period are very tough. We needed 3 points today. Horrible performance, but now we focus on a run of games where I would probably take a draw in most and hopefully be able to sneak a win in the home games against Killie/Well.

There was a noteable difference when Reynolds came off.
Thought Fuchs was an improvement and I agree with Pat's comments above about McNulty.
A very difficult month coming up but that will take the pressure off a bit next Saturday and pile it on to Livingston.
Hearts, Dundee and Neil Lennon all pissed off tonight. Happy days.

Livi game is a fortnight away bud, blank weekend next week unfortunately.
Definitely a carlesberg Saturday though 👍

Happy to win but so much to work on. No idea why we go back so often under sometimes no pressure. Our crossing is also horrific. When we play with tempo on the break we look ok at times but that’s not a sustainable way to play. We were so deep at other times inviting Hamilton on to us. Maybe tiredness but I would want to see better pressing higher up the park.
Thought McNulty looked decent today, unsure why poster above would identify him over anyone else as having a bad game!? Edwards was decent but had the ‘easier’ job of sitting centrally and clearing balls whilst the other 2 looked so poor with the ball, average without it when defending.
Fuchs looks to have the composure we’re missing. Forced a few passes and doesn’t look very creative but definitely an improvement and a consistent starter for me.

Until them assist which he done well at, I thought he was dreadful but he wasn’t only one, but for the price we are supposedly paying he needs to up his game
Once again team selection was baffling, why are we giving Hamilton accies so much respect, absolutely no need for there to be 3 centre halves at home, especially when all they do is punt it up top or just hoof it out park ! Delighted with win but Jesus we need to up our game

Hard work against 11 cloggers +ref
Good subbies.
Great team goal for first.
Nicky Clark !!!!!!!!!!

Great result in the end, Micky has to look at that and consider returning to 4 at the back. Thought we were impressive after the change.
McNultys pass for the equaliser btw, perfection.

Overall, I was actually enjoying the gehm, we were'na brilliant but we played some good stuff. Think oor finishing is still letting us doon tho.
When Accies scored, I was brought doon to Earth. I thought to mysell, can we no phuckin baet Accies at hame.
Twa excellent finishes beh Clark, both in part thanks to McNulty, but still though, there wasna near enough service to Shanks once he came on.
Even efter watching the highlights last night, I still canna work oot WTF the Penalty was for. A glance aff Robson mibbee? Thank phuck the boy made a chunt oe it.
The last 5 mins were a bit nervy.
3 points deserved, and strengthens oor 5th place.
MOTM for me. Clark.

Thought there was some improvement yesterday. Some good passing and moves at times. McNulty improving, Liam Smith very good. Great strikes from Nicky Clark and important goals from him, again. Very underrated player and he was my man of the match also.
We are beginning to consolidate our league position so that’s a positive. There is still much to work on, however on we go and hopefully keep the improvement moving on with some fitba that’s more pleasing on the eye.
I like Liam Smith but he did nothing to stop the cross for Accies' goal.
McNulty will be an important player for us. Hope he gets a goal soon.

Liam Smith had a great game tbh. He will never stop every ball into the box though.
McNulty was excellent and will get sharper, that would have been an excellent goal near the end and would have done my dream team the world of good too 😉

He done my fucking nut in at the goal.
Why not get close to the man and at least attempt a challenge? My pet hate with players. Looking like they are busy because they are tracking the man (without actually doing anything).

Agreed. He did have a good game but stopping crosses is his number 1 job

Their goal, aye Smith may have cut out the cross, but we've maybe got used to seeing opposition defenders stop attempted crosses because our wide boys find it hard to put the ball into the box. A full back can't stop every cross.
I reckon that cross should have been dealt with by our three central defenders, and it was galling to watch one of them run away from the scorer giving him an easier chance to net.
