Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

Off topic but not worthy of having its own title.
Ross Graham playing central defence I presume for Cove v Hibs & winning 1-0 at half time, was an early kick-off.

Cammy Smith up front, Clark not listed. Injured or rested maybe.

Has coverage started? I’ve just got picture of the two clubs badges and some background noise

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

Complete and utter embarrassment

Midfield is a fucking massive problem, they do nothing, powers has to start at least he keeps the ball

Question marks for Mellon now

Not good enough, simple as that really.

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

I thought the Livingston performance was one of the most embarrassing in the last few years, a week later we produce an even more pathetic performance

Hope I’m wrong but think Mellon will take us straight back down

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

Cant believe we never had 1 shot on target.

Wha was it that sayed they wanted us to compete on Europe. Was it Ogren, or Mellon. No matter. We need to compete in North East Scotland 1st.

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

Holy smoke - we're shit.

Where are Clark and Sporle?  Were we just picking the 'don't give a shit' XI today.  How bad must the boy King be to not get a sniff when we are totally rank in midfield?  The dons will totally horse us unless things change.
Nothing changes my view that we are being run by incompetents behind the scenes.

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

Really need to work on ball retention how many times did we give the ball away cheaply today, how are we going to create chances is we keep losing the ball.  Some players worse than others but needs to be looked at urgently.

Did the players think after Brechin today would be a stroll in the park?

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

I really struggling to think what our game plan is, why isn’t butcher playing centre half (we all want to see this happen), get powers in the midfield who is far superior to anyone wee have on the ball, we create nothing, Brechin we got lucky we never conceded about 5 and today we brought absolutely nothing to the game, could have been playing there for another 2 hours and we wouldn’t have scored

Today highlighted even more how much wee needed a left winger in the transfer window

Seriously worried at how this is turning out

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

I now give no fucks about our next game in this competition, once again scratching around to qualify anyway. Piss poor performances of late and it needs sorting out, im not going to start calling for the managers head just yet but he needs to get these soppy cunts to raise their game big time.

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

Don't usually comment on games, win, defeats and draws - I've seen it all. But I'm glad more fans are starting to question the whole set up. Something stinks, and it starts with Asghar. Ogren must be thinking what the hell is going on.

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

Mellon had the chance to call a 'spade a spade' post-Livi.

Let's see him sugarcoat this fucking shit then.

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

I don't mind too much about the results in the Diddy Cup as long as it is being used by the team to learn.

The only thing we seem to be learning of late is how to be shit.  A couple of good performances especially from the new recruits would really help.

Some of the lineups and substitution decisions of late have definitely been a cause for concern, but surely it is ridiculous to write off Mellon this early.

As for the owners, unless you have the money to buy them out, I'm not sure what thinking "something stinks" does for anyone?

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

We looked more like the League 1 team today!
McMullan still can't pass or cross a ball, butcher and Harkes offered nothing, forgot Pawllet was on the park as he did nothing. Bolton did nothing until he was moved to full back and Fotheringham came on and looked more positive. Cammy Smith isn't the no 10 we need to influence the game and create chances.
Only positive was that MM must now realise the standard of the fringe players we have isn't good enough.

Little late for him to realise it though don't you think?

Re: Utd v Peterhead - Saturday 10th October

I see no point whatsoever in debating if Mellon is the man as like the majority I suspect are becoming more alarmed of his abilities to make this bang average side any better.

At least the fans who refuse to accept shite performances on the park ain't getting the blame for results or performances.

This squad are full of poor to average players who's goal is to stay in the the leave this season above Ross County and Hamilton and I fear they don't have the balls for the fight.

For months in every transfer thread most fans highlighted or lack of creativity and we are miles off it in that department, fucking miles off it.

Sick to the fucking back teeth of these utter embarrassing performances.

Diddy cup, cmon mate! Major trophy in Scotland, what I would do to see United lift that trophy! Hope the players realise this, going by that performance they don’t

I think the only way is to give them a chance in these games and clearly most of them haven't taken it.
