Try suspending yourself from the ceiling by your bollocks for the next 3 days mate, you'll be amazed how long we have left 😂😂

Why would I do that

Hope we don't sit on our arses considering it until 11.45pm on Monday. Robbie Muirhead's at Morton.

The other thing i'd say is, we currently need a Striker.

If Shankland departs we need two.

I really hope we are not all getting set-up for Lawrence moving on and us just replacing him with some dinghy loanee.

And fwiw i hope it's NOT Safranko. Who's scoring rate was distinctly average in a poor Championship. Simon Murray scored more than him. Hell, even an 'over the hill' Scott McDonald scored more.

And in a Csaba Laszlo side.

"Hearing" a bid for Shankland?
Hearing from where exactly?

Also I haven't seen any interview where MM has discussed Shankland leaving and responding with "we will wait and see".

In other words............................... I smell shite.

He told a sky sports journalist last night "we will wait and see" that is a fact.

Just saying what I was told. FWIW he's is better off away if he wants to improve as a player, he must be p!ssed off just now and rightly so.

Re: Summer departures/signings/rumours thread

Daily Mail in England reporting Burnley have offered £500,000 to take Shankland ON LOAN.

Wtf?

Mad if we accept that.

Article says though he is pivotal to Dundee United’s prospects they are keen to raise funds to keep the club afloat.

Re: Summer departures/signings/rumours thread

According to the Daily Mail we are needing to raise funds to keep the club afloat.  If we’re in such a bad state that we are considering loaning out our only decent player then we should just give up.  I’m assuming this is just unsubstantiated pish from a shite newspaper though.

Especially from an English Prem team.  The money they throw around down there and that is what they offer for a full international.  If that doughnut McBurnie's worth 15m (or whatever Sheffield United for him) then Shankland must be worth significantly more.  Milk the cunts

I live in Burnley, I'll be along to tell them to fuck off in person.

That’s one of the worst stories I’ve ever heard.  Come to the EPL, Get paid SPFL wages so not exactly a great deal for Shankland, certainly not what he’ll be hoping his future is.  Also a terrible deal for Utd.  It’s also not a great deal for Burnley because if he’s a success then they’ll lose the fight for him that there would then be.

So in conclusion what a lot of made up shite.  If they are interested that will 100% not be what’s being discussed.

😂😂

Nommi you're some guy.

I'll play along though. How does this Tranmere fan know all this? Has Mr Mellon poured his heart out over the phone to this Tranmere fan who lives in deepest Cambridgeshire?

Our favourite ITK journalist has just denied it , no contact and not looking to sell him far less loan him out

Re: Summer departures/signings/rumours thread

We're looking rudderless.

The other night was a debacle. Shipping goals to Killie/Huns a debacle. Some beautiful periods of attacking football, not a clean sheet, mixed results against teams we should be beating.

Who would blame Lawrence for going down the road ?  We're no exactly a good shop window for his abundant talent.
Micky making all the right noises but yet to deliver.
Ashgar/Micky 10 games in and no actual signings worth mention.    10 games.   Blaming the situation on the Court Case is bollocks.   Whatever happens I hope it's no too little too late.
Is the boy Fuchs beginning to look Kawashima-ish ?
Not a dicky bird from our chairman. We heard more from him during the Robbie setup.

Deja Vu ?

One good thing - at least we've got a diddy tournament against diddy teams coming up.

If we're no winning these games 3 or 4 nil there's something wrong.
If we don't and we get a string of lame excuses from Micky it'll be the return of Slobber.

Re: Summer departures/signings/rumours thread

He's got to be better than we have, surely. If he isn't we're in the deep shit.

I read something about this during the last week. Had to translate it, but I read that we've got him for nothing initiallybut we have to pay  percentage of any fee (40% iish).

I did read an interview with his agent from May/June time where very large fees were mentioned.
