Glass is 20 years old and needs to now be playing football week-in-week-out if he is going to make the grade. He is very lightweight and doesn't have much pace. These are things he needs to improve on. As someone who watches him every day in training - I fully trust Mellon's judgement. Having a 20-year old sitting on the bench most games isnt good for either party. We have lots of players who can play in his position. He is maybe currently 3rd or even 4th choice in his natural position? He'd be lucky if he started a handful of games this season, going out on loan makes total sense in my opinion.
As for Freeman, almost the exact same as Glass. Currently 4th choice RB really. But Neilson will eventually move to CB and Bolton is only on loan. I'm confident he'll be on of our 2 RB's for next season. Being 20 years old, he needs to play every week.

Don't know if signing Hoti has pushed Glass further down the pecking order but if it has I think going on loan again to get more first team football will be good for him and us.

Hearing Ross Graham going to Cove on Loan? If true, exact same as Glass and Freeman. At an age where he needs to be playing every week. Currently 4th or 5th choice centre half? Makes sense.
Online!
I like Glass but he hasn't been an Armstrong or even like Scott Allan when they broke through and you knew from the start they were going places.
That's not to say he won't but the club must do what right for both sides and game time is what the lad needs.
Really need an option out on the wing and a CM.

Seen a rumour of Scott Allan being targeted but cant see it be honest - creative midfielder would be ideal but cannot see this being a viable option.

Scott Allan would be manna from heaven for us but why on earth would Hibs not want to keep him, he's maybe their most influential player.
So is there something up with him there just now?

Was he not pulled out of last weekends game due to some mystery illness?
No thanks from me, good player but doesn't have the attitude I'd like to see at Tannadice.
Don't think he'd even consider playing for us again anyway.

Last weekend it was in the news that he faced time of the sidelines due to an illness of some sort.

He is diabetic, could be all sorts of complications if it has got out of control
He is exactly the type we need but to be fair every club is looking for one.
Sees the pass/splits the defence type.
Scott Fraser was the last we had anything like it but he was just an apprentice. And got boo-ed.
Imagine what Shankland would do with one of them behind him.

No chance. He is not a mellon type player

In light of performance of Neilson and ever improving Chalmers already this year. In light of cameo v St Mirren where he looked good I'm bewildered.
To Partick, I'm bewildered; cannae see the quality there to bring him on, cannae see the travel helping. (How no Cove ? ) Cannae see it doing his commitment the world of good having to travel to that dump to play alongside they hams. No guarantee the wee Jobbie even give the laddie a game. Right kick in the teeth I reckon.
This is a laddie with real quality we're talking here. Does he's face no fit ?
For whole season I'm totally bewildered.
Meantime we're paying Cammy Smith and Emil King to do what ?
Ok Mrs Glass, calm doon, lol.

Someone on EF saying Hoti refused to go out on loan when asked. Not sure if true or to what club.

Why would a manager send a player to watch a game when he had the day off himself?

Well one player we won't be signing is Marc McNulty.
He's been arrested on suspicion of match fixing.
Oh dear.

He's at Reading mate.
A few Reading fans on Twitter alluding to the point that they believe he missed a last minute penalty at Elland Road on purpose a few months back.
Heard a rumour yesterday that we've accepted 2 bids for Seigrist....
Also, I don't think we'll sign anyone due to the current uncertainty around fans getting in to games. I wouldn't blame anyone at the club for taking this approach. Keeping the club afloat must take priority at the moment.

Maybe a hint as to why he spent a year without a club. Sounds like Wato Mk2.

So on that basis Mr Ogren is taking what he can and fucking off? Because if we start selling off our best players without signing anyone then it's back down and into oblivion we're headed.
Can't see it myself, I'd imagine the rumour came from a Dee.

Surely not.

That's a hell of a leap you've made there mate. The rumour is what it is. The second paragraph is my personal opinion.

I don't think it is though, that's pretty much what it would amount to. When I said on that basis I meant if your opinion was in fact correct.
Ogren has ploughed money in to get us up and get us challenging. If he was to now adopt the policy of selling off our best players and bringing in no one that would be tantamount to giving up the ghost and cashing in his chips imo.
We have heard countless rumours this summer and I don't expect this one is anymore reliable than all the others is all I'm saying.
