It's not so long ago we had a poster on here accusing the club of tapping up players.

Now we have posters who expect our chairman to start telling the press who we are about to sign.

It's all about Ashgar still behaving like an agent to me.  Dropping things to the Glasgow press thinking that is building a rapport with the fans. 

Simple things really.  Everyone knows that adding some quality will likely assist in keeping us up and being closer to the top half of the table and that a failure to do so will likely see us go down again or be struggling at the bottom end hoping that someone has got it more wrong than us.  Difference is that all the other clubs already had squads that can survive in this league.  We don't know that we do and bar a good start it's now looking like our hope (of squad capability) being good enough is still that, a hope.

The fact that we seem to have been after a series of players that looked unlikely to ever come to us on one hand shows ambition but on the other naivety.  This is where we are for me.  Ashgar certainly assisted in getting us Shankland and thus out of the fizzy, but I am far from convinced that he is the man that can build us a team to survive then thrive in this division.

Hope I am proved wrong obviously, but I think the stewardship of the club is currently in questionable hands and Ogren needs to be on top of his investment.

Just looked this up, aye he's signed for a team at the third level in Germany, with lower average crowds than United. Just shows the difference in television contract values between countries.

Albion Ademi is possibly a better option anyway (are you looking in Tony?)

Coventry City will have to pay him less than we are due to the salary cap so I doubt he'd be interested anyway.

We are a selling club. Of course we will let scouts in.

Championship clubs looking for him would need to cough up 2.5-3 million imo.

I just hope if he goes this window it isn't on the last day and we're not scrambling about for a replacement.
