Slightly off-topic but noticed Rakish Bingham signed for Ebbsfleet Town.
Glad he got a new team. Lad was robbed of a proper chance to win a contract at Utd due to everything that happened since March.

Apparently the boy Hoti signing, any truth? Anyone know anything about him?
Supposedly a 2 year deal.
And in line for a call-up to Kosova's International set-up.
Turned down a new deal at Rochdale in the Summer.
Kinda like that there is a bit of a mystique about him and there's little to no info to be had about him available. Feels like an old school foreign signing pre-internet.
He left Rochdale in the summer of 2019, don’t know what he’s been doing for the last year and a bit!! Apparently had a trial at Sheff Utd at some point but not sure when.

Obviously kens him fae his time in Englandshire, probably sees him as a low cost risk with potential Shakey.

Strange one.
Maybe an agent filling his head full of 'you can do better' and then no moves materialising as he is an unknown kid?
Anyway, if he signs it would seem MM and the coaches have had a long look. So guess we need to just trust that the kid has something.
I'm sure i read he is seen as more of an Academy/reserve team signing initially.

looks like he has composure on the ball, good left peg, likes a pass

Was with the squad last season under Neilson so this is most definitely a Tony A signing

I've seen much better highlights reels that have materialised into very shite signings lol.
But I won't judge him on that, let's hope he's good.

Thought Florent Hoti might have signed today.
The latest from MM.🍉
Mellon revealed United are close to signing 19-year-old former Rochdale midfielder Florent Hoti.
He said: “I can’t say it’s over the line yet, but we are hoping that maybe later on today that gets closed.“We call him Flo and the reason we are bringing him, even at the young age he is, you can see where the improvements can be and how we can make them.
“He is a talented lad, very confident, technically very good.
He will work for the team and plays at a good intensity.
“There is no pressure on him to come in and do it right away but he could come in and make an impact now.
“I believe he could play in the Premiership now. I am excited about the potential and we think he can become a very good player.”

Hoti confirmed
For a fee. Presumed this was a free transfer.
Think it will be a development fee as he was at the Rochdale Academy.

Ah good point. Hadn’t thought of that.
Our first ever Kosovan? Formerly Albania but I don't think we've had an Albanian either? The best of luck FloHo

Formerly Yugoslavia/Serbia...was technically part of Greater Albania (governed by Italy) during WWII but never part of Albania.
Best of luck FH, maybe he can get some of his Kosovan diaspora singing stars to Tannadice...

She is one of about 4 or 5 with a Kosovan background and all of a similar quality.

Norwood on at half time and set up Ipswich 2nd goal today. Best case scenario is they were putting him in shop window. Worst case is he’s a genuine part of the plans and starts playing well. If we were playing a waiting game for him then I do hope we’ve got a strong list of alternatives.
As I mentioned earlier, think it depends if we’re looking to replace or complement Shankland

There is no chance Norwood is coming to Utd.

Any signings we make need to be the type of players who can stand up to the physical challenge from Hamilton, Livi , St Mirren & County our direct relegation rivals, not the sort who might help us create a few more openings at Ibrox/Parkhead.

Spot on.
We are in a scrap to finish 10th position this season and anything above is a bonus with this squad.
For top 6 we need 4 or 5 first team players but we would need to shift a lot of the journeymen that we have and in these circumstances that easier said than done.
It's not hard to predict the top two then a 3rd & 4th (Hibs, Dons) then the rest anywhere & nowhere.
If we got our act together we could be 5th, flopping would mean 11th/12th, God forbid, seek o' play-offs.
There's so much water to pass under the bridge, it could be very interesting.
Just wonder if we're going to be seeing any of it....

I reckon it's all a misunderstanding.
United have read the rules and regulations re Saturday's proposed test event
"No singing allowed!"
They've read that as signing. We've all typed in a rush at someone point and done that.

Friendly v Raith tomorrow. Osman Sow in the squad seemingly. Jesus fuck.
