Strange when I've just read that he is about to go through a mini pre season to get his fitness up.

Really hope he has been injured and it's nothing else that's kept him out.

Yeah my thoughts too. Only one more league game before the international break and he’s not involved in Sheffield United game today.

It might actually help us on this occasion.

If he gets minutes for Scotland it helps improve his match fitness.

Match fit or not it will be to get him in and around the squad. He will be in the Scotland set up for the next few years atleast so it gets him prepared for what its like and mixing with the other players.

Sure it was Cyprus he was named on the bench but never got on (i mind half the crowd was baffled as to why) but he later came out and said he had an injury. I guess this is similar and Clarke wants him to be involved in some way.

He was too slow for the Championship and injured, but so was Pawlett. Maybe Micky can turn him into Odsonne Edouard.

He is still staying in the area and recently was training with Morgaro Gomis when he was doing kids sessions.
