Worrying times if it's covid related.

Yeah it is because of the outbreak in cases in the Aberdeen squad.

Yes. Grim news. Aberdeen Fc could be locked down for two weeks.
It's Farmers/Sheep.
Not liking the sound of this...
Sturgeon's ominous warning that she could place the whole of Scottish Football back into lockdown

I'm pretty sure she'd have the same reaction whoever it was. This thing is much bigger than football.

It's bigger than football but not bigger than politics.
It could be damaging for her dream to alienate either side of the cheeks

I don't think she has a problem calling anyone out who blatantly breaks the rules. Plus I would say that if that was a group of our players who broke these rules, we'd all be just as angry and would expect them to receive abuse from all angles.

I was actually referring to the coronavirus not Nicola's political persuasion. People dying is bigger than which side you're on tbh.

From tonight more evidence of not much to separate those likely to be in places 5-12 come the end of the season.

Saints v Dons is fucking dire

From what we've witnessed, this Premiership so far hasn't looked as challenging as we might have feared, but one thing strikes me so far, and it may have something to do with no crowds being present at matches:
there have been 27 games to date, and there have been more away victories than home wins.
12 away wins, 7 draws and 8 home triumphs, with half of these being the expected home successes for the Glasgow pair, with them winning all possible home games.

From what I have seen there are a lot of teams at or around the same level. I thought that Accies might end up being on their own at the bottom, but they will pull off the odd surprise (e.g. beating M'well) and they will gain points on their home astro so it's going to be tight.
We have started well, but we are going to need to win our winnable games at home (should have beaten Saints and probably got a draw to Hibs) as we are not going to continue to win all of our away games. Without some additions (inc. the return of Shanks) we are going to be in and around the group that will include the bottom two (that group might be as big as 8 or even 9 teams).
So we need to keep it up and agree that there is nothing much to fear.
It's going to be a two-team shoot-out this season with the rest of us scrapping over positions 3-12.
I say that cos despite Hibs' supposed good start to the season & Aberdeen's issues, both are going to be part of the bottom 10 than challenging the top 2 in any way. Neither Hibs nor Aberseen has impressed me much and Killie & M'well don't seem to be coping well with the strange conditions.
Without wanting to get carried away, and realising it's going to be one funny old season, if what I'm seeing from us so far continues I think a top 6 place is likely.
But moreso than ever it's going to be all about Celtic & Rangers & ten in a row so be warned!
I'm interested to see how we get on against St Mirren/Hamilton/Livi. Obviously we beat County but that could have gone either way. Our other games have been against those expected to be top 6 and we've been the underdog and we've held our own at least in those games...

Thing is, a lot of teams fans are probably feeling the same way as us right now that they need to improve a little, and then they can have a really good season. I don't see much evidence that we are going to have many easy games this season, every point is going to have to be won, and lots will slip away when we feel like we really could/should have got them.
Thankfully any myths that our squad simply isn't good enough to compete in this league are gone now, so hopefully we can make a couple of good signings, get a few good results and really push on for the next couple of months.

Mickey's instilling workrate, playing for one another, he's using talent we have.
Add the right signings will only better.
Will be interesting to see how we go on plastic.

Celtic out of the champions league, oh well 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Shocking result. As soon as I heard, on the radio, that Brown was kicking players off the ball again I knew they'd lost it. Brown needs to rethink what he is all about and Lennon needs to drop him or Lawell will drop him.
That said, how a team like Celtic can go into arguably their most important match for months without a recognised striker on the pitch is a total shocker. They've got oodles of cash - wtf are they playing at.
Nearly forgot to say, snigger, snigger....
