Reading between the Twitter lines... Scott Burns has reiterated that Rangers wont do business with United.
Not overly fussed anyway. Just hope the same applies the other way.

Is Murphy so good to take him and play him in front of what we have? Surely only 1 or 2 years as a top level player anyway?
Not bothered too much

Zero fucks given, can't do business with a dead club anyway.

Thinking about it, the Finnish boy would be a better shout - right age, prospects etc.. If we are going to splash out on an older head the boy Norwood sounds a better bet for what we need (especially given Shanklands continuing temporary absence/likely at some point long term absence).

Yep I'd agree with that.

Ah right haven't seen the direct quote from Scott Burns and was just going off what folk had said.I recall Burns wrote something like 'Rangers won't do business with United' as a direct reply to someone who asked a question about Jordan Jones, which I reckoned meant that particular piece of transfer speculation wasn't likely, rather than a downright refusal of the Ibrox side to ever have any dealing with United: to me, that wouldn't make much sense.
I took it to mean exactly what he said.
Rangers won't do business with Utd.
As long as it's reciprocal i have no problem with that either.

Knowing the petty bunch that they are wouldn't surprise me.

Off topic warning!
It may be true that the Ibrox mob won't have any dealings with United, but then I'm wondering why they played us in that game down at Murray Park on the 22nd.
Which leads sketchily and links to the referee on Saturday at Dingwall, Craig Napier. That was his first match in the top league, and he was the same guy who officiated at Murray Park last month. I only discovered the other day he was the sole official who took part in that match, as the assistant referees were quite rightly turned away by Sevco officials as they didn't have their Covid clearance test results through. Maybe that was common knowledge, if so, sorry to bring it up again.
But it begs the question once again: why was that match allowed to take place when 9 of the starters for the home side didn't have clearance either? That 'misunderstanding' excuse doesn't appear to have much substance.

Not for going after Murphy. Was a good player years ago but hardly played any games in the last 3/4 years, would command a big wage and also had a bad injury. Would rather we were looking a players in their mid 20s.

Kai Fotheringham signed an extension until summer 2023. Highly rated so another excellent piece of business 👍

Pleased to read this, he appears to have some character about him.
KuPS lost heavily in Europe tonight, maybe that eases the chances of us securing Ilmari Niskanen.

They bid 2M for Sam Cosgrove apparently.
So, you never know.

Shankland's other half is due their baby around October time. Just a total guess here but surely now wouldnt be the best time for them to be moving to a new country?

Yes they did which was accepted from Aberdeen according to the press this morning. However shanklands missus is about to have their baby in the next couple of months so i very much doubt moving there will be happening at this moment in his career.

Reading between Twitter lines again, I think Scott Burns may be suggesting that we are trying to bring in a winger. Really hope (if true) that it is Niskanen.

Canny see Shankland being interested in up rooting as you say with his missus expecting. Lets face it Sir Lawrence has enough trouble with English let alone being suck in the middle of nowhere in France.

A Kai Fotheringham debut on Saturday would be too much a baptism of fire I guess?
Mickey has been chucking them in tho, who's it gonna be this time!

We are apparently on the lookout for a CM too.

Midfielder.
Bit of a nutter but maybe matured? (age 28).
Rangers daft.
His wife's rather pretty.
Thanks be to Wicki.
