Test working now.
Hopefully the quality is much better Saturday as the test quality is very poor.Stream 1 was shite quality but the others were better, might be something to do with amount of folk viewing on that stream.
I tried all 4 links.
If that was down to the amount watching the test j have major fear for Saturday live event.

I got in no bother at all on different devices. It was just the picture quality that was poor.

Dont know if you've noticed Bowers (or anybody else for that matter), but the 4 Links use different Plugins for the Video player.
Link 1 (default)
Link 2 bitmovin
Link 3 uplynk
Link 4 videojs (javascript I guess)

Enjoying the content but the boys accent. West end glasgow with a few Scottish words dropped in.
No video of the flag unfurling though?
Bit of gaelic for the boys 🤣🤣

Notice the Gaelic commentary went aff efter 10 mins.
Anybody getting any commentary now.
The commentator explained it very well at the end so no fretting, everything will be allright.

I went on to Live Scores not long after the 50 minute mark to see how the other games were going, and was shocked to see it showing 1-1: it took at least 90 seconds from that point to see Connolly's assist.
It was full time on Live Scores for almost 2 minutes before the stream showed the end of the match. Therefore it was like watching VIP League, although the picture quality was ok and didn't buffer.

Pleasantly surprised with DUTV today, the stream eventually settled down and to be fair was a good watch mostly!
The alba commentary at the start............typical, although working our end supposedly Albas fault?
The boy at the start seems to forget the oary and throws one in now and again at the oddest times ......just because.
I think they should just the leave the commentary to Scott Simpson, the co-commentators don't really add anything, and god forbid no more "get in there" I hope that ship's sailed !!
All in all happy with the new channel, just needs a few tweeks

It was a mixed start for the new channel imo.
Transmission was supposed to begin at 2pm but other than Leo Sayer singing 'Hamish the Goalie' (which got cut-off halfway in) there was no visuals until about 2.22pm when the bright eyed and bushy tailed presenter Alistair Heather welcomed everyone to the programme alongside former Utd Captain Sean Dillon.
Things then took an ugly turn (literally) when a member of the Display Team (and this Forum) gave us a short interview 😜
Then back to the enthusiastic Alistair who again spoke to (an in comparison) World weary and weather worn Sean Dillon.
There were a couple of other segments with Utd fans and highlights of pre-season game. All fine.
Back to our wee pal Alistair. Just what is that accent? 😂
Is it Orkney or what? Like a weird mix of 4 different Scot dialects. I actually think he'll be a good and well liked presenter once he finds his feet. Hopefully no more interviews high up in the stand though. Were competing with the gulls the whole time.
If it's pre-recorded (and i assume it is) hold the interviews somewhere there are no noise distractions.
Now on the subject of the Gaelic commentary. Utd media guy saying it's not the clubs fault but that of the streaming company.
Fair enough.
But they can only get away with that excuse the once.
Finally. The picture quality was ok.

Very fair assessment TEK.
I'd like no commentary, a better quality picture, and someone who's not putting on an accent to be the host.
Other than that, worked smoothly for me and enjoyed it.

Ended up driving most of the day so didn't get to watch unfortunately. Sounds like there were a few hiccups. Hope the motherwell coverage is decent next week.

It did Tek. Something I forgot to mention in my post following the match.
A huge well done to bowers and everyone in the Display team for a their excellent work, and apols to them for omitting this from my match post.

Did anyone watch the match against Hibs on it? How did it go?
Picture quality was fine, commentary was not always in sync, but again, I think the whole presentation was running around 90 seconds behind actual time. Just after the Edwards injury my son was able to tell me Hibs were about to score, as it was showing up on his Live Scores app.

same for me, had twitter on to see what other arabs were saying about the game and then found that it was well ahead of what we were seeing on screen.
